I understand your points and it might be true. We gonna see what's really gonna happen later. But the faction always has been a blob faction. If Volks get flamethrower, they won't be able to upgrade Panzerschreck. Sturms is busy upgrading mine detector kit. And making another squad of Strums sounds like a over-investment. It would be best if ballistic and explosive weapons deal damage to building (like they were before) instead of killing the units inside. Those weapons' did hurt the building and unit at the same time before. It's just building itself became more susceptible to explosive damage after the patch(which is made long time ago.) If explosive weapons were made to can't damage inside(or damage inside extremely small amount), mortar won't be able to clear garrisons neither. Maybe damage all garrison stuff that Centaur currently have is also applied to here. I didn't check though. And I'm not sure Katy do the almost the same thing or not... In: COH2 Balance

Once they spawn and retreat back to base, theyll struggle as regular troops on the battlefield. its very difficult for them to close the distance since you can focus them down. -17% honestly isnt very much for a 4 man squad. losing even one model means a whopping 25% decrease in dps. One thing you don't consider - the price, spawnable at any ambient building. Hey, they already bring chaos before they go back to their base. It doen't even matter they die, because it's dirt cheap. It will be patched, but seriously you've gotta look at a unit from various perspective before you mention, man. Stormtroopers... what about them. In: COH2 Balance
