One of my coh2 community member actually did a test on this.
50 panthers stepped on 50 tm-35. Guess what?
26 of them engine damaged.
18 of them engine destroyed.
Rest of them normal.
Wow, 44 out 50 is 10%. I need to learn math again.
Even RNG god would not explain this.
By the way, he did test on the tellers also.
51 t34/85s stepped on 51 mines. Guess what?
17 of mines didn't even penetrate the tanks, and gave them no damage and engine criticals.
27 of them engine damaged.
7 of them engine destroyed.
What a BS. Try it by yourself if you think i'm lying.(by cheat mod, of course)
