OKW now only has those flare and are so important that it justify taking the only commander who has it. So as I stated, nothing proves that it is OP, but everything point out that it has an important place in the OKW and teamgames. Flares are strong and it must be considering the role it has to fulfill. It gives vision wherever you want it, it is uncounterable (word?, it is cheap and spammable, its OP as fuck and always has been, all flares call ins are, at least with rifle flares you need to get close. The IR-HT got nerfed which was needed but is still a big impact on a core unit of the OKW, if you see more flares it is because that's the only remaining option for the OKW and the whole axis side. Those flares are critical for the OKW and that's why they are criticizes. To counter the arty dominance of the Allies, flares are needed. To use properly the panzerwerfer, you need those flares. Both axis rocket arty are "precise strike" and not "wiping area machine". Plus most of the "meta" Ostheer commander doesn't have reco plane, nerfing flares will just make the need of Elephant+Scope even more present. So instead of crying out an OP ability which lasted for a decade (exactly like the T-70 is to the SU) and which is part of every teamgames tactics, try to give them first other viable options and see if it remain a must-have ability. So because OKW dont have a "scout unit" they should instead have something that is OP nd we are supposed to be OK with that? Noone is saying get rid of all OKW scout options, just sort the flares out, replace it with a loiter plane and job done. In: COH2 Balance

I must have missed that, but wait, what if you are a team of 4 OKW against 4 Soviets, you dont have an ele then, does that mean you deserve to lose if they go for an ISU? I know about CTP, I've used it, I've had it used against me I think its fine, but for moronic statements that yourself and others make about "well, if you dont do precisely X or have exactly Y, you deserve to lose" I will call you on your idiocy. Saying people deserve to lose because they dont have X doctrine or do Y is the most idiotic thing I think I have ever heard anyone say about COH, and I've seen a lot of your posts. In: COH2 Balance

As others have mentioned though, not reducing the overwatch price but nerfing it to not be OP and last forever has just killed it. Frustrating to see that no changes have been made to any remaining call in units, make the doctrine jut unlock them so they are buildable! Commando assault timing buff is going to be the next OP thing about UKF, especially in team games. In: COH2 Gameplay

Synergy was never among the reasons behind the ST nerf for some weird reason. My argument is based on facts gathered from the changelog and my easily observations that any player that owns the game can replicate. Feel free to prove them wrong but currently people seem to disagree with the current status quo where the AVRE is significantly better than the ST And? Does every unit require equality? The 42 is a far better MG at pining than the vickers and it has vet abilities, what are we going to do about that? Don't forget the ST can fire the grenade so it can pick off other targets. The ST doctrine is far more useful than the AVRE as a whole, and the ST was nerfed because it would one shot multiple tanks from out of vision and through buildings. Does it need changing? Probably tweaking here and there but for fuck sake, don't start with well X has the same role and does it better otherwise it will never end. In: COH2 Gameplay
