I think that the 6 PTRS rifles will get priotized in an M5 since it has 5 or 6 models shooting out of it.
It caps at 4 modals, so you achieve the same in live and yes they do prioritize vehicles (you can have a double flamer ). |

I could see M5 with 2 penals = 6 PTRS rifles become a thing with the new patch.
Vippers solution doesn't apply for this though. Don't think it's necessary to look at, but 6 PTRS M5 could become a thing yes
I'm quite sure only one squad can fire out of the m5 at a time, they can't share. Would be quite terrifying through.

I like most the changes so far, I still through think 5 man is abit strong but their is a difference.
Cant say much about ostruppen as I dont see them enough in team games.
I am curious if their will be any changes to grens at any given time and would like to make a wild suggestion. What about changing their native 0.91 ra to receive damage? Considering everyone complains about how fragile they are, worth a shot?
Edit: or give them the conscript treatment and have 10% dr come at vet 1.

I dont really like the penal upgrade from mobilize reserves especially of you go penal builds.
You pay for quicker xp gain and reduce reforcment cost by 2. Considering mobilize reserves cost 100mp and 20 fuel you only start getting your mp worth after loosing 50 penal models.
This also further makes it more fundermently flawed to unlock once you reach tier 4 because most penals may already have vetted and you have better options. Again better choice to get in tier 3. |
Well the thing is imo that giving a player choices instead of "braindead" upgrades is a good thing.
The implementation of it might need fine tuning but generally allowing the player to choose where and when he want to invest is something is a good thing.
Considering how impactful and important the upgrade is not really a choice. You have a issue that it comes too early, i think everyone will be getting it before tier 4. Also your going into dangerous territory about brain-dead upgrades especially about one that no one complained about. |
I do, they allow additional timing, decision making and cost effectiveness balancing layer.
The problem stems however from the fact that exclusively 1 side of the conflict has them while another freeloads on their regular tech with grand total of zero additional investments outside of obligatory healing, so you end up with 1 side having to make economical decisions and consider if they need X or can go about without it, while other side just gets everything.
I get where your coming from, Ill ment I dont like global upgrades in COH2 because of the exact reasons you have mentioned. |
