Panter doesn't have 150% bonus for damage, penetration and accuracy for first shoot from invis, and of course invis itself. but still the same result, because the sowiet tank had no support In: COH2 Balance

Thread: It is OK to have tank with invisibility in this game?30 May 2015, 15:19 PM I think it´s fine as it is. Activated cloak reduces the turningspeed and movement. Even if you don´t have it activated you can´t chase enemy tanks most of the time. Getting this tank delays teching and getting a panther, which can actually chase and kill tanks- not just scare them off. This ability doesn´t turn the jp4 into anything more then a usefull way of keeping shermans and t34s from slaughtering okw-inf.... the same thing it is without using it. Sure it can add some survivability in rare situations, but loosing a tank as okw is a realy hard hit in comparison to loosing a sherman or t34. Tbh I rarely use this ability if I get a jp4 and so do the players I play against when I play allies. In: COH2 Balance

The 2 CP will still apply to the guards and mortar. but will UNLOCK them in the T1/T2 building... (The only difference is that players will actually have to build the buildings first). Rather than be able to skip teching altogether and just rely on call in unit spam. Look at the forums or any other source, it´s not realy a hype ,but it surely helped to spread the word... As a side-effect noone at relic could be blamed for making false promisses or the like. E.g : T34/85s out of the T3 building 120mm out of the T2 building Guards out of the T1 building.... Rather than instant call-ins. make them unlock the units in the tech tree.... If they did this for all factions, game would be alot less stale. Guards in t1 - m3 + guards ultimate earlygame 120mm in t2 - mg + 120mm+ at to make sure axis can´t come back into battle t34 in t3 - ok, you will never need it gg at about 10 minutes on most 1vs1-maps In: OKW Strategies

You can have mapcontrol, vp-advantage and everything is nice, but then boom byebye first vetted squad.... "oh look he took gmc, who would have thought that..." Then,even if you manage to keep his army back- t34/85 says hello. If you manage to kill one of those 2 - next thing you will see is 3 of them. At this point, raketenwerfer and volksschrecks are useles- well they were not very usefull against guards anyway and most of your vetted units died already. Obers? Uhmmm well, they are the nicest target for the 120mm... GG wp!!! The problem is guards and the t34´s are good against Infantry and vehicles/tanks, while okw has only specialised units and on top of that okw tanks are more expensive. On top of that he gets the mortar, which will pay for itself by just positioning that thing somewhere, or alternatively take out the trucks without risk and counter pak/raketen with precisionstrike.
