It's been a while since I've used it so correct me if Im wrong, but his dps should be the same as a gren sqaud right?

Yeah, I used to use ostruppen doctrine quite often and I never had a problem vetting him up. He has slightly less DPS than a gren squad, and he doesn't force retreat when killed, so I find him to be a valuable fighting unit.

Just make sure that he has the ability to shoot enemies from where he is standing and he should vet up at a slightly slower rate than grens.

it only forced the retreat because the other guy panicked; he could have ordered the MG out and been fine. additionally, the purpose of every other grenade is to cause damage, not merely retreats. giving cons a nade that sometimes causes retreats gives them a second class nade, especially compared to RGs,sneaky assault grenades, and WP nades (which have similar mechanics but are actually effective, regardless of the cost).

Just thought of if TWP for the Stug was redesign to disable the enemy tank gun for a few seconds, say around 3 to 6 seconds. (Not destroy the gun but unable to return fire) That way the Tank can't return any effective fire but be able to escape. TWP still be good but not great.
