I would appreciate it if someone would anaylze my gameplay and criticize my micro strategy etc.
got my sherman abandoned with 1 jackson vs stug g, p4, and my own sherman and somehow cameback.

So when you lose a game to Jesulin for example, it will mean allies up because you'll have -1?
Thats how reliable indicatoer of anything win streaks are.
You have similar win % ration with all factions, that is an indicator of balance if anything related to single playercard can be one.
How can you conclude that both the win % ratios of a top 5 player and the state of balance is relatable to each other lol. That's a pretty ridiculous thing to say.
You are essentially comparing an individual outlier of the Coh2 population, whose skill is beyond 98% of the playerbase, to the majority of the players
As crude as his argument is, his win streaks pretty much do confirm his argument that the 1v1 metagame for the allied/axis balance is broken. His win % only confirm that he is a top tier player, please don't relate that to balance. |
IMO, I think tank hunter is a little over rated( this may be because i havent played a really good player utilizing it because they all nearly use guard motor). But proper micro of a Flak HT screened by adequate infantry/mg 34 will prevent army of flanking cons from shredding it.
Just really ends up being the same game plan of surviving early game onslaught and bringing out the big boys. A bonus to fighting this faction is that KT is near auto win when it hits the field and is properly supported due to soviet stock armor being relatively shit.
Cant emphasize this enough, dont overextend yourself and know when its time to disengage. |
Oh cool, didnt know the cover snapping into certain shapes. Guess I'm still a long roads away from becoming good at this game in all its nuances. |
Thanks, but most players at an above average level fake their tech structures ontop of each other so you cant really "scout" their tech structure through the fog of war. And since sWs scouting is too risky now you really have to take a gamble somtimes as okw in the first few minutes. Now against molo we all know he goes t1 so i always build mechanized to counter but guard rifles in clown car make quick work of the 251. I guess in this particular instance he is just outplaying me and I need to work on micro and consolidate my forces to stop these early strong pushes and not be able to harass my opponent effectively
Thanks for the reply and i will try to implement your suggestions, especially the ghost wiring |
Converting fuel->muni isn't "100% efficient", it's way over 100% in terms of relative quantity of munitions. You don't have three times as much muni as fuel, but that's the ratio you get for the convert ability.
Regarding caches in terms of muni vs fuel as people were discussing above:
50 / 3 = 16.66 minutes for 1 fuel cache to generate 50 fuel
150 / 5 = 30 minutes for 1 munitions cache to generate 150 munitions
So fuel caches will generate munitions 1.8x faster than munitions caches will when using CAS doctrine. 50 fuel-> 83 munitions would be the "correct" ratio to make these even, however nobody would trade 50 fuel for 83 munitions because one is simply more valuable than the other. However, I think 120 munitions might be more fair for the conversion.
In regards to your first statement, Im pretty certain you do not understand what he means by 100% efficient. The way that I interpreted his statement is that you will always receive the same amount of munition for the same amount of fuel. This is not true for most other conversions as they depend on your fuel/muni income at the time ( OKW mechanized great example). |
How do I defeat Captain Molotov early scout car spam with guard motor as OKW Kappa |
GG, a pretty fun game tbh.
I know this guy has a bad reputation but just dont stoop to his level and he can actually turn out to be an okay guy after all the insults xD

I was new in the game, couple of days after WFA release, I haven't play COH2 since 6 months. 2vs2 Moskow winter random match.
I play really badly, my random mate not better and our opponents not much better. At some point me and my allied are completely repelled to our base, almost no more infantry, same goes for the Axis but they have a panther, 2 tigers and a Tiger Ace on the field.
I manage to save a Jackson from destruction and repair next to my base (top right) The guy in front of me decide to push to finish me but at the same time I manage to call a second Jackson. With a bit of micro I take the panther down and start to charge on the map with my two jacksons, my two last units on the field at this time. I find a 1st tiger and charge it, I pass on his rear and couple of shots later kill it. (don't ask me how honestly)
Time to repair, my two Jacksons are vet2. I continue the roaming, 2 Jacksons still unsupported and found the 2nd tiger, same method, charge and pass in his rear, with vet2 the tiger cannot do much, that was impressive. Almost when the tiger is down, the tiger Ace show up and I do the same... charge pass on his rear and BAM, Tiger Ace down, two Jacksons vet3.
If I remember well, he directly called a 2nd Tiger Ace but it didn't change anything, I took it with the 2 Jacksons.
we finally won the game
After this match, I thought the Jackson was a beast... na, couple of other games later I understood my opponents were just worst than me
Nice story, you got a replay for this? I'd love to see someone being able to call in a 2nd Tiger Ace! |
I hope there's no new factions, or even new commanders until this game is at least somewhat balanced. |
