I love how people automatically assume they're not going to like something before they even have proper knowledge of it's implementation.

To be brutally honest it's not Relic's fault people aren't happy with the game. They make the game, only you can decide if you like it or not. So technically if your not happy with what is provided to you to experience then that's technically each persons own fault it has nothing to do with Relic.

For example, the amount of people complaining that we haven't seen a balance patch in months. Is this because they don't think there's currently a need for it. Which may very well be the case. Or because of the amount of people that frequent the forums complaining about lack of balance manage to rope more players in? Turning one persons idea into a frenzy, based on players that more often than not only need to improve their game. Yet decide to not take on that responsibility because it is easier to blame Relic.

It's all good I understood you meant the maps playable area. You need to use the Interactivity Stage tool.

interactivity stage 0 is the usual playable area... interactivity stage 50 is the area surrounding the core playable area. In an area painted with stage 50 you will not be able to give moveorders, but units may enter this area for off-map retreat or when they appear from off-map.

The Interactivity Tool is on the right hand side of the Territory Tool. You will need to use at least 32m on each side of the playable area so they do not have visible black areas.

You know if you pop smoke on it and then run in and double demo it will die straight away. Funnily enough if done right your opponent won't even get notice of enemies being in the vicinity and it can be lost before he can even move to protect it.

During setup it is simple to take care of.

On topic though: It has a Flak to make people make stupid amounts of threads and posts on the issue instead of finding ways to counter its use and deny OKW from some very formidable units

All I see you saying is he used multiple types of units in different places on the map so you ran 4+ units of vet3 rifle flamers everywhere you went.

He wasn't blobbing he just managed to use his infantry well enough for them to be everywhere you went.

I read a lot of unhappy statements and this makes me wonder if anything Relic do will ever make this community happy. I mean 2 years of CoH2 and some people still think they haven't gotten they're monies worth. Really? Are you serious?

TBH I find it appalling that gamers of this day and age think that a company the size of relic can survive through a 5 year plan and only release the initial game and then sit around making free expansions and patches for no money just to make the community happy.

I agree the game in it's current state is to be frowned upon, but for anyone that does more than just play the game, for anyone that looks into the files, can code, makes mods, maps, 3D modelling, all these things show that the game has great potential. Having one of theses skills can often give you a different view on things as you can see the way things are designed and the idea behind the way they currently operate.

So what if it goes F2P (yes there are dozens of downsides) how does this affect what you spent 2 years ago. You want a game that you can purchase and never have to pay another cent? You might have to go back in time and find another title that's not played online. Because in this day and ages there is rarely a game that you will NEVER pay another cent for.

I'd say it's about time this community relaxed and gave relic a chance to do they're work and release it before deciding whether its good or not, could you imagine what would happen if they read threads like this and scrapped the whole project. Warspoils would stay the same the game would stay the same.

Sometimes I think it's not actually Relic that's too scared to change CoH2. Times like this make me realize it's more how scared the community is of see they're beloved title change even if it is for the better. Too scared to take the chance of it getting worse to find out if what Relic's planning is better than what we currently have.
