And uh, Obers using their LMG on the move is their entire thing since they cost 400 MP + 75 muni
Just like Paratroopers which are 390 MP + 120 muni for there LMG's?
Oh wait, paratroopers deal less DPs, have less DPs on the move and worse vet bonus comparing to obers.
Looks like paratroopers need a buff, oh wait, they don't.

Riflemen are getting a huge buff next patch.
We don't know that, 30% is overkill, I agree. 20% would've been better.
Let's see what Relic does, everything in the mod is still subject to change.

There basically LMG42's you can give to any of your squads, so no.
A single LMG is now more expensive then a LMG42 and does less damage to boot, you have to go 2 if you want to beat a single vet 3 Gren.
So let's see, rifleman are more expensive and need to spend 140 muni to beat Grens.
Imo there's something wrong here.
Edit: and accuracy on the move isn't worth for shit, they won't deal DPs like Obers do when they shoot on the move, they have 0.75 accuracy, while I think it was 0.25 for Paratroopers. |

Good point, lets nerf the LeIG so the only tactic is to blob a load of volks and hope they don't die on their way while trying to get close enough to a mortar/bofors to nade the hell out of it. On top of them having no way to force brace.
Thanks to the bug that makes buildings almost undestroyable all indirect fire does much less damage vs the garrisoned squads. So LeIG's not the only one with that problem. |
The American pac howitzer is way more effective. And has better vet.
LeiG counters the pak howie, it has more range.
USF can't even get two pak howie's because they lack the MP for that.
And you have to position the pak howie really close for it to actually hit squads, thus you have to constantly reposition the pak howie, while you can just put your Leig in a safe spot and let it auto fire away. Can't do that with the USF howie.
Edit: not to mention, isn't the USF pak howie more expensive as well? |
Can the USF lmg's be made 60 muni in stead of 70 now that abuse stance is removed?
And since it deals less damage then all other lmg's when using a single one, can you make it so the USF lmg's can shoot on the move like paratrooper ones? It'll encourage flanking/mobility, which is USF design. |
I would love it if all snipers got a complete overhaul, in real life snipers don't shoot this fast i think lol.
I keep thinking about a different role, maby make all snipers like pathfinders but give them the ability to snipe models. I liked the ability as well in the USF campaign.
It'll have a low cooldown, so you can snipe models each 5 seconds? But it'll be micro taxing that way, though buff sight range and give all of them standard flare.
Well, 4 man sniper squads might be really strange, snipers always solo?
And maby give them longer shoot range then all other infantry, you can out them in the back, still preserving that role. It'll make them less deadly but more surviveable with all these changes.
Edit: thinking about it some more, would'nt that be horrible OP? A 4 man Squad who can snipe models each 5 seconds that you can't wipe in the early game, hmm it needs better tweaking. |
I guess it's weak to indirect fire, because the engineers move slower thus can't really atack.
Though when the engineers hit vet 3 it's a really strong strat, they have cheaper reinforcement then as well.
So I would make double howie as OKW, perhaps a Luch? They have zero AT. |
