It can't kill nor can it evenly suppress blobs before dying due to the poor suppression per burst. At least the .50 cal has some kick to it and the Maxim has a more survivable crew. The MG34 again; has the worst far DPS of any unit in the game. I think a lot of people are missing the fact that it costs more than a squad of Ostruppen but does 1/6th the DPS of one at far. There is zero excuse for it's current DPS profile or it's suppression profile. Increasing the cost to 240 while buffing it would be fine, but right now it has zero redeeming qualities. As i see it hmg34 should have good suppression, but deal close to 0 damage (hmg42 and maxim damage need to be nerfed as well, but thats another story). You can make MG's gain vet from suppressing units instead of damage. In: COH2 Balance |
