I takes 15secs longer than GrW34 but still. And it can. In a replay you posted some time ago, 2 ISGs were able to deal more damage than 2 GrW34s through entire game. Damage buildings well, especially the stone buildings. 2 ISG's did more damage because they were doing direct fire, and we killed the Ostheer mortars at the first half of the game while the ISG's stuck around. The biggest problem is that versus large hardy buildings the ISG is expensive, and it's vet only improves the barrage which is bleh. In: COH2 Balance

There is no source saying Relic or Sega own unlimited WH40k license, there is only assumptions. They own DoW rights, that's totally different, but without WH40k license, they can't produce a DOW3. And if there is sources, then please, show them. and where did you see that COH has the fraction of popularity of DOW ? check the number of players on steam. PS:I'm not saying there won't be a DOW3, I totally believe it will come sooner or later. You affirm things like facts, but you can't proove them. GrW43 is able to kill Rifle squad in wooden building in 1:14 (building collapses - not killing squad inside - 2 models died with collapse). ISG can do same thing in 1:28. 2 Models left which died with collapse. RNG involved cause depends where shells will land but still, bullshit decetor is needed lol 1 minute 28 seconds to kill a building, his riflemen are just going to sit there and he's not going to push your ISG. And wooden buildings don't comprise all the buildings in the game either. Why are you throwing the bullshit flag when the ISG is easily the worst OKW unit, it can't do what it's supposed to: function as a indirect fire unit. In: COH2 Balance

Actually, the WFA approach was the correct one tech - call in - wise. It makes USF more fun to play because you can rely on your core army stuff to compete well, and you can use commanders the way they are meant to be used - as supplements. Also, you said that Soviets have the most options because they have call ins. It contradicts itself doesnt it? The ineffectivity of non call in builds is more often than not just perceived due to people being lazy and hopping on the meta - ladder - tryhard train. A well used T34 can wreck you harder than a waiting for is2 strat. But call ins are not fine ofcourse. This whole call in system needs to be changed, urgently. Also, USF lategame as it is is perfectly fine, you can have everything you need by the time lategame kicks in. Its just the lazy overreliance on call in's or okw units overperforming, which by the way alex, they do. Month long OKW complaints dont come from nowhere, literally everyone in the top tier level of play complains about OKW. God save relic if they dont deliver this time. I'm not saying the call in system is great, but it IS what has made Soviets so good lately thanks to having so many commanders with call in's + elite infantry. USF has problems because they can't tech up to a T4 equivalent and thus don't have a better late game, while Soviets, Ostheer and OKW all have late game call in's. People in the top level of play don't complain about everything OKW has, but then again 90% of the top players don't post here. OKW doesn't need to be nerfed across the board, it needs some things toned down. But it would be much easier and more fun for everyone to bring USF up to par and fix Ostheer than nerf one of the most fun factions in the game into the ground. And reworking Soviets/Entire factions is never going to happen. Relic hasn't ever in it's history redone an entire faction, they might buff the Sov stock units, but they aren't going to change every single Soviet commander. In: COH2 Balance

It's still different, and with how important DoW3 is it's not a leap of logic to see how CoH2 could serve as a testing ground for new stuff. The CoH2 engine isn't entirely brand-new, it's definitely a revamped version of the CoH1 engine. There were a lot of bugs and engine behaviours in alpha and beta that were clearly carryovers from CoH1, like units jumping out of cover and decrewed AT guns sometimes continuing to move when their crews were killed while repositioning. There is some stuff in CoH2 that was carried over from DoW2 as well. In: Lobby
