His aura should work like the Command Panthers, getting stronger as he Vet's up. Honestly right now I don't like using him because the risk of a forced retreat is to strong. |

The recent preview patch buff to cons will make them in the top 5 for most survivable units in the game, so their late game potential will be basically that of pre-nerf Volks, ultra survivable infantry to keep map control and hold the line.

Actually I value neither more than the other, which is why I don't convert. Regardless the fuel penalty and munitions penalty exist and you can't ignore them. The only reason people do is because they are trying to misframe an argument. |

I don't think any OKW player cares to ignore fuel, conversion is almost never worth it. I wouldn't really care if they remove it and just allowed OKW to make caches (they get reduced income from them anyway). |

A single LMG is now more expensive then a LMG42 and does less damage to boot, you have to go 2 if you want to beat a single vet 3 Gren.
So let's see, rifleman are more expensive and need to spend 140 muni to beat Grens.

Edit: and accuracy on the move isn't worth for shit, they won't deal DPs like Obers do when they shoot on the move, they have 0.75 accuracy, while I think it was 0.25 for Paratroopers.
No they're very similar, the MG 42 is negligibly better, in gameplay you will never notice a difference. Placebo and confirmation bias would be stronger than the differences between the two. And most importantly, you can double up.
LMG42: 6.517 - 9.430 - 9.407
M1919: 6.138 - 8.911 - 9.169
And uh, Obers using their LMG on the move is their entire thing since they cost 400 MP + 75 muni

If you played more than one match, you would understand that it's not "basically LMG42's". LMG42 is better than it by far (without the defensive stance). Given to any troops is the counter weight you're basically saying??? THERE IS ONLY ONE TROOP to pick from as allies. Unless you are referring to the RE's lol.
At max range the LMG42 only does .3 more DPS. The 1919 (Riflemen) and LMG42 (Grens) are almost exactly the same. And yes since the removal of defensive stance equipping RE with weapons isn't a bad idea.
You can also get multiple 1919's on each squad, which isn't an option for LMG42's. |

Can we just ignore this kid? honestly.... LieG is better than pak howie at vet 0 all the way to 5. The level of denial it takes to say otherwise takes an amount of reality detachment that is a waste of time in discussing with.
Yes, taking everything it account such the the Pack Howi having a larger kill and suppression radius on it's explosion profile. The LieG and Pack are equals, interestingly enough it's almost as if this is intended because they cost almost exactly the same. |
