sniper and clown car sounds good, never used a sniper that way.
Shocks are out of the question though as you have to give up Hit the Dirt and PPSH's which with the current balance are vital.
I'm a keen fan of a T2 strat and let me tell you this doesn't work, I'll just get an upgunned scout car, and your sniper car will just die |
I don't speak any Russian, but most western countries regard communist as red Nazism, they made a game of their own images of soviet union which is logical from their point of view, but if you want the game sells well, you'd better consider not insulting a huge group of ppl
Well from the Polygon article (which referenced a historian), we can only conclude that people got insulted for no other reason apart from a biased nationalistic video.
Anyone should know that it is and will always be impossible to study history objectively. The best that we can do is with the physical evidence that exists and not many people can access this.
And about random videos, does anyone remember Kony2012 campaign that outraged people for no apparent reason? Same story here. Maybe we'll call it "the Kony reaction" or something haha |
Then you can kindly ignore this topuc
The point is, I'm not happy how the nationalistic russians are carrying themselves out.
Paranoia, out of the nationalistic russians on this forum, I find you very respectable. However, there are a lot of Pro Russians with 2-3 posts only who only joined here from the metacritic crowd that don't argue and are just breaking Godwin's law.
That is just simply extremely annoying in a very decent topic.
I'm prepared to read about both sides, but please, stop breaking Godwin's Law... |
Baron Karl-Heinz Helmut von Rogers has much to answer for, hailing as he apparently does from the Prussian aristocracy. He apparently still struts his estate, beating the p(h)easants, and firing at all and sundry with a rusty schmeisser, cursing the Canadian land forces.
Godwin's Law
Broken all over this thread.
And also, from a lot of nationalistic Russians here.
It kinda makes me sick this keeps on going... |
FFS.
The game (and the big picture of the war) is not about civilians. It is about soldiers fighting in the frontline, not in the rearguard and not soldiers doing anything with civilians.
The only time when the frontline is about civilians is when strikes are conducted. For instance, the V1 strikes and the bombing raids on cities by the British and Americans.
Also, hmm, metacritic - I doubt that many ppl would have bought the game |
One of the posts:
Terrible game. It has nothing looking like real historical facts.Everything is lie! Creator of this game must be burnt in the hell. And their friend Hitler will be their neighbour.
Yup, it seems that america isn't the only country with that problem...
Seriously, when are people going to stop trying to whitewash history.
In the meantine, let's start talking about Godwin's Law. I think it needs an adjustment here. |
hum.....I think patch rate should rise a little bit, or just give us something for like every 2 week?
Well, in terms of balance patching, maybe every month?
But I agree, if something is broken, it needs to be fixed... |
pretty solid numbers for a RTS, what ware you on about? You are also lying about the vCoH part: http://steamgraph.net/index.php?action=graph&appid=4560q231430&from=0
I remember a time when ppl were really happy that we finally hit 10k users on COH1. This was during the old servers.
Even during time between the server change and COH2, just about almost no-one played Steam. It was buggy as hell and drophackers had it even better there for a time.
This is not so much doomsaying as in actual concern. And this time, the numbers back me up. |
Whatever metacritic says, the stats for the plays on Steam more or less tell us what multiplayer is like.
6,724 independent players as a peak on COH2 in the past 24 hrs.
This is no better than (if not worse than) the numbers of players in COH1 in January, and for a new game a month old with so much hype, this is bad news.

If you've gone through the learning curve for Red Orchestra, you're fine for Rising Storm - it's the same stuff anyway with different toys. |
