Well look at that, within hours of the supply run change Axis players see the light that is getting your supply run countered. (Although the allied players will have to DELIBERATLEY counter it by constructing AI not just having base defences or a Schwere)
Great change, both planes should be destructible, but now there will be more discussion on thier directions. Non destructible planes LAWL people wouldn't pick that every time *cough* *cough*.
Smine fields made the crates extremely easy to defend, risk reward lol. More like run in to a pre-prepared position on seconds notice to try and take the crates. The axis drop has been in a much more favourable position since OKW launch.
Would much rather have seen the flame nade move to Sturmpios (& keeping the old volks nade!)
It would suit the aggressive spirit of Sturms, as they are meant to be assault troops and will often be near buildings. No representation of the recognizable Stielhandgrenade with any of the frontline troops of the german armies in the game is quite a step in the wrong direction from a design perspective. It's a ww2 rts after all!
Brits have the iconic mills bomb, americans have the pineapple grenade everyone will recognize as sth typical of ww2, soviets, well, they don't have their regular nades, but at least the Molotov will be typically associated with the soviet army... but nobody would intuitively associate 'incendiary grenades' with the german army of ww2! The design of giving the western front german frontline troops incendiary grenades instead of the normal, iconic stick grenades is not understandable at all...
Relic has reverted other changes before! And the normal volks nade should definitley return, even if it means the incendiary grenade has to go OR be moved to Sturmpios (an idea many seem to support!! )
Sturmpios are by far already the best repair unit in the game, thier utility doesn't require the grenade to be moved to them. Even peasant partisans can throw grenades yet the Soviet combat engineers with less durability,DPS, repair speed and no option to put away sweeper do not have a grenade. Hell rear ech don't have a grenade, pioneers don't have a grenade. OKW special snow flake.
It's just a shame the Ferdinand doesn't get criticals if molotovs are thrown onto it. It's been in the game from day one, represented as the elefant. In reality the soviets dealt with the machine at Kursk in the crudest of fashions once they knew it had no infantry protection.
Still a very silly concept that allied TD's have Lower pen, lower armor, lower range and also don't kill inf. I guess the thought was mobility made up for all 4 of the later (M10 is unique to the scenario but not much longer) but mobility is countered by the fact the Elefant and Jagd only need basic spotting to start nailing your tanks on thier Rush in. The Jagd pen bulletin is adorable though.
I would say, give volks x2 Panzerbüchse with same AT, AI and accuracy of PTRS performance and Pfaust unlock, for 60 ammo.
This would kill few problems:
1) Volks blobs
2) Volks shitty AI (better then before but still shity meh)
3) No insta-killing tanks
And then work on raketenwerfer and make it less shitty.
Volks would have more\less same perfomance vs light armor. Schreck is out-of-place for OKW, there is no way you can emplement it without it being OP\useless. OP on volks, useless on Sturmpio, too expensive on Obersoldaten.
Also with 100% fuel income, I would say that OKW don't need to rely on schrecks.
That wouldn't solve spam without thier cost increasing, what your describing here is the old Tank Hunter a Tactic conscript blobs. If they did get the rifles, they would need the stats that the conscript upgrade PTRS have. But an idea non the less good suggestion.
I'm glad to see changes coming on a large scale such as with ace and industry. but salvage should go now, especially with a zero fuel kubel in the MP float faction.
Hope the community is mature enough to discuss fixes to allied faction issues that have been going on longer than the OKW. Such as tier 1 soviet it had been band aid fixed since the day of the clown car. Shouldn't be making it strictly for snipers, Penals need a serious looking at with the satchel now doing nothing and thier rifle damage/survivabikity/utility still being pretty laughable.
Even moving the 45mm AT gun into tier 1 doc would be something. Unless the Axis community wants to be upset about maxim spam till the end of time.
