they have to stop for 1 sec to start firing the LMG...use mortars either 82mm or 120mm and make sure you tell them to attack the Obers by clicking on them but don't use barrage ability because that is less accurate.
If you choose the right doc, use smoke from shocks to get close then shift click a grenade behind them as you approach so that if they soft or hard retreat away from you they might get hit by your grenade. |
Oh I'm sorry was that too difficult for you to comprefuckinhend?
The JU-87D hit your tanks 3x on a pass, all three bursts from the 37mm hitting your lightly armored tanks hit. You had no AA, not even a pintle mounted MG, you were punished for it. It's a dedicated anti-tank strafe, it it's not doing tank-busting it's not worth it as a call in or a doctrine.
Besides this, Allied tanks are dirt fuckin' cheap, so sack up and quit crying, buy a new one.
that doctrine has no callin infantry and no call in tanks...i would hope that it has some serious economic/arty/strafe etc abilities or why even use it...it is a strong ability, but i would take airborne over luftwaffe as AB gets the sweet paratroopers and those P47s absolutely can turn the tide and finish off a half health Tiger/Panther in one pass |
Please tell me if there was something we could have done to wipe out whole mortars....we pushed them back in old fashioned semois pin fashion many, many times but they kept coming back and they can suffer losses at nearly 2 to 1 ratio and still be just fine MP wise 30 for Gren/17 for support weapons...
I know maxim spam is an issue, but it seems like this can be just as bad |

Feel like we outplayed these guys but we just couldn't make them pay enough mp due to cheap reinforcement of mortars 17 MP per model |
This is insane, please watch the replay which I will post next...2 soviets almost certainly an arranged team one player built 4 mortars and 2 zis...there is so little man power bleed from killing there support weapons that even though we kept killing large parts of the crew they are so darn resilient...also they can simply blast grens overwhelmingly with 4 firing at a time and Grens have to pull up and stop for awhile in order to get good effect on their LMGs...because Wehr doesn't have a shredder at close range even when we could push off all infantry (penals, scripts with ppsh, shocks) with strafes or tanks/vehicles we simply couldn't kill their mortars fast enough before they would retreat...this is unlike shocks/cons PPSHs which will clean an mg with a flank no problem and they can stay on the move so very low risk of getting hit by mortars...
My big issue is not only are soviet mg and mortar pretty much on par performance wise with wehrmact, they also have larger squad sizes plus they are super cheap to reinforce (17 per man!)
Plus PGs aren't nearly as good as shocks at clearing support teams with good flanks and they are smaller size, less durable and 40 mp per man to boot.
I get that SU have bigger squads but if they are going to be so cheap to reinforce compared to Wehr support weapons and Wehr infantry then why aren't they less effective...or at least make them on par on reinforcement cost since they still will benefit from large squad size and solid performance compared to Wehr. |
Just played an opponent who had duplicate of the same exact title and performance bulletin for shrmans. If you have duplicates can they be used and stack? |
Yes they are.
Havent had any trouble using em since patch. I dont see the problem. Still a lot better than G43s.
If you get wiped behind cover using LMGs youll get wiped using G43s. You are not going to move around all the time never going into cover. You WILL go into cover at some point using G43s and you run the risk of getting wiped then just as with LMGs.
DPS is king for me. LMGS.
What's left then? Fence lines and trees? Craters are most abundant cover mid game and on. I will load replay later today. |
I'm new to the game and very new to the Soviet faction as I focused on the Ostheer at first. Now playing as the soviets my Conscripts are getting annihilated by Grens with LMGs at almost any range. Is there anything I can do to to improve there durability? Like what is the range/role they suit best? Should I keep squads together or spread them out? Do I retreat once I've lost three guys or is the health of the squad more important?
Any advice would be great.
mortars...the HM-38 is best....grens have to stop for 1 second before LMG starts to fire and due to new mechanics in latest patch the grens clump up whenever in any cover. Soviet mortars will bleed him dry simply by using autofire against the stationary grens as long as don't let enemy push your mortars off of the field too much. |
