He was replying to your denial of his statement about "LMG cancer". So his statement "Have you seen 1919s on paras and riflemen" doesn't mean "they can shoot on the move" it means "they are (in his opinion) a real pain and spoil gameplay". I hope I cleared that up. I think you're probably auto-disagreeing with what he says. I'm not saying he's right but if you want to have a constructive discussion with him, you'll have to at least understand and take on what he writes before writing "you're wrong". Ale was answering other guy, not my post about what he said about COH2 cancers.....he was answering to KurtWilde comment, and of course he was saying that paras and riflemen can use their LMG on the move....aaaand if not, then, he should write his answer in a way that people don´t misinterpreted it, and I mean: if someone says "You do know that you need to stop to use LMGs properly. Except Obers, that's why they were such a pain last patch. So I don't think LMGs is that much of a 'cancer'" and your answer is: "Have you seen 1919's on Para's and Riflemen?" then, 90% of us is going to interprete this answer as I did. anyway, thanks for you attemp to get a constructive conversation, no joke. LMG spam meta is one of the reasons blobbing is so common and extending that to the USSR would just spread the cancer. SvT's, PPsH43's, ect. There are tons of upgrades you could give to Conscripts and other Soviet squads without spreading LMG cancer meta. mmmm, so shame that when talking about DEMOS you want to spread the cancer giving demos to axis.....ohhhh mannnn!!! can´t you decide what is your opinion????? should we remove all cancers from game?? or only the ones in Allies hands????? hohohoho, can you stop spreading no-sense shit over every thread in this board????? We'll have to see how the game plays after clumping is fixed. lol, sure man, but in my humble opinion, at present, HMC is perfectly fine as you agreed....Sure that with future changes, some units will get buffed and others nerfed, and then, that day, we will have to check some of them, BUT NOW, HMC is fine because problem is units bunching up, soooo, let´s fix this thing instead of change any and every unit affected for this bad squad behaviour. we can remove Rifle nades, HMC, 120mm, KT, and squad wipes will happen less, but this is not a good solution. The problem is, when units are moving they sometimes clump up too and the scott will sometimes hit moving squads. Again it's a Relic-begging issue for changing squad clumping. and that is why HMC is perfectly fine.... In: COH2 Gameplay

In reply to your points: 1) same range perhaps but can fire indirectly from behind shot-blockers, thereby nullifying the pak's range. 2) dies to two hits but can be kept behind the front and far away from AT with a meatshield of infantry blobcking the path. Approaching with AT guns is very dangerous. 3) Same AoE as Sherman perhaps but the Sherman is a direct fire weapon with shorter range, therefore has a big AoE to compensate. The Scott has no such disadvantage. Still, as I've already said I think the issue with the Scott might go away if squad-clumping were fixed. There are two possible solutions: 1) Ask Relic to make a patch to stop models bunching up. 2) Make sure you spread out the models when you position the squad. I find that Holding the mouse button and dragging it back from the position you chose helps. You can see the dots appear where the guys will go. As for the range issue, there is a downside to the Scott long range - you can't use it in close quarters...because it will wiped by shreks and ATGuns. just an opinion. I´m pretty sure you know what I did here. In: COH2 Gameplay
