I am now going to stop playing 4v4 games if I see more than 2 OKW players.
I am sick of the No skill Kuble/Volk shrek blob + 7 min Stuka into Heavy late game armor (probably heavily broken Jagtiger) then GG, I suggest other people follow suite to try and get the number of people looking to win with these tactics down as they wont enjoy waiting 25 mins for a game, this may also finally make Relic sit up and take notice.
This isn't some petty fan boy reaction to getting beaten fair an square and not being able to take it this is just a reaction to what is in essence a faulty product that needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
And I swear to god anyone says L2P and I will haunt you.
Boycott, leave, do what you wanna do. I don't care. I never play 4v4 . Oh, and leaving game is actually bad for your TEAMMATES not for your OPPONENTS. |
Or when you press revers it does a 360 first
This is the best of all |
WHAT!?!?! OKW flak KILLS EVERYTHING!!!!
Yep, everything on foot and scares away anything on weels up to medium armor. But its AA capabilities are rather questionable. Maybe its anti-armor power should be tone down a bit, while its AA capabilities should be increased. |
If added to USF arsenal, Pershing should NOT be doctrinal. It should be in T4 but while all existent armor shuld be available as soon as you called the major, Pershing should require an unlock, payable in something: mp + fuel, mp, you choose it. Then it should have its own price. That way, USF players will have to decide if they want to hold the line aiming for pershings or will use current armor in larger quantities.
If it's doctrinal, 80% of USF players will use that doctrine, and the diversity will suffer. |
I only got to top-10 with both by spamming grens (one MG42 as support at most) and volks (no kubels because I'm lazy and don't want to micro, nobody plays USF anyway), clearly this is totally unworkable
I'm not sure what crack people are smoking to make them think volks or grens are weak, and I'm not sure I want any either, that stuff is clearly too strong.
I don't know why you think the things you are saying are relevant. I'm sure you can scale to place 10 or whatever in the ladder even if you were allowed to play with just one infantry type, because you are you. And you are representing 2% of COH2 players. For the rest of us, it's not about one infantry type or the other is to weak or to strong (I find Porygon infantry units description quite accurate actualy), it's how you play and combine them. That is why the actual state of volks doesn't bother me even if, as a single unit, they are not strong, not by far.
Frankly, I am only smoking normal cigarettes, I can't give you the brand, because i don't want to make here illegal advertising |
Isu is op and a stuka that can wipe multiple squads with reasonable ease is not op lol. Anyways i dont think its a big deal, what do you expect from high explosive shells or rockets? A small puff of smoke? lol
Yeah, well while ISU and B4 can squadwipe with no warning, you can still hear the Stuka comming. And what will you do? Sit on your chair and wait, or move your blob away? |
The fact is that ostheer grens cannot be played through spam anymore. To be efficient as ostheer in startgame you currently need everything from T1 (except snipers - anyway germna snipers were allways shit).
It's quite riscky for ostheer in startgame, but what's new? Conserve your infantry, and you'll be fine, lose one-two squads and you are doomed. That's the problem actually. For soviets, the penalty is not that serious. But this problem persists since COH2 was launched.
On OKW side though, you are using volks+sturms+kubel anyway, so the fact that volks are a little shitty it doesn't really bother me. |
He must rush to get m20 to counter my kubels.
No, he doesnt't have to, he just chosed to counter your kubel like this.
I tech to puma to counter m20.
No, you don't have to. You can counter it with anything that sounds like an AT unit.
My question being.. Should okw be force into linear teching like Wehr?
By "linear teching" do you understand that "phases" thing? OKW buildings are not designed that way. Virtualy, every building contains AI and AT counters so in theory, just one will suffise to carry on battles. The concept is quite different from other armies and I think this is a good thing and like it. OKW has other problems that need to be fixed, I don't think the teching system is its problem. |
I am "hyped" to see what marvellous balance changes will bring with it....... |
I find this "crutch" units concept quite interesting. But what units and why, this is a little debatable. For instance, I would agree that Puma can be included in this cathegory, but not with ISU. ISU is not just a heavy AT, it has excellent AI capabilities. Main infantry should be the backbone of an army, so from this point of view I can't consider grenadiers a "crutch" unit. For soviets, you can start with T1 or T2 both starts being viable. So maxim won't be a "crutch" unit in my view eather.
Comming back to Puma, it depends on what enemy does and against what faction you play. If your enemy will go on infantry intensive tactics, you won't need it tbh. But in most situations he will try to build vehicles fast and many because he knows you can't do the same. In this situation yes, Puma is a "crutch" unit. |
