Thread: CoH3 faster VP tick rate17 Jan 2023, 06:48 AM I hated the idea of faster VP ticks even on paper, and once I played the technical test, I hated it even more than I thought I would. I thought maybe I'd be able to get used to it, but all it did was make games end right as they picked up. Easily my #1 complaint about the technical test. I will be extremely disappointed if they keep this change, because I like so many other things about the direction of CoH3. I played 30 hours of the technical test, and my opinion on this only solidified the more I played. In: COH3 Central

This change is going to make them walking meat targets. And furthermore, when did MG population suddenly become an issue? This game has been out for 8 years now and MGs being 6 pop never was a problem. I really wish the balance team would stop touching certain aspects of the game at this point in its life. I also have a massive sour taste in my mouth that Brits are getting tons of buffs and everyone else is getting nerfed. In: Lobby

Even if the cost is the same, it's still a straight up nerf from when they added that upgrade because the faust still needs to wait for the upgrade time. Yawn. I find it so tiresome how big of a stick our society has up its ass about Germany in WW2. This obsession with being anti-Nazi seriously borders on cult-like. It's been nearly 80 years. And you cannot expect me to take seriously the claim that 80% of the WW2 video game fandom are all white supremacists (and who cares if people you don't like like your video game, anyway?). People like Germany because they're cool and had the most badass tanks and uniforms. But this is kind of a rabbit hole, anyway. Other games have had German campaigns, including in our very own beloved series. I see absolutely no reason why we can't have one in CoH3. In: COH3 Central

Though historically the African campaign, from both sides, avoided the monstrous effects on civilians and was a more "pure war" as such. So IMO Relic could get away with it if focused on Rommel. Especially in campaigns that want to have characters and stories you can be sympathetic towards, which relic seems to want to do with coh3's Company of Heroes 1 added a Panzer Elite campaign in the Opposing Fronts expansion, and it was easily the most heartfelt of all the campaigns in the entire series... Besides, the general trend of every WW2 game ever is that the overwhelming majority of the actual playerbase wants to play as Germany. I've seen it in every multiplayer WW2 I've ever played.
