The key word is LMG Gren. You are forcing a choice on a player. Does anybody remember the G43 upgrade? I thought not. In my opinion the LMG is a crutch that is more then likely being looked at elsewhere in balance land.

The reason why Penals suck isn't because their vet is shit. They have some of the best veterancy bonus's in the game (they get 30% more accuracy twice which is huge as accuracy is the biggest determiner in DPS next to just damage). The issue is their rifles are horrible. Not necessarily in reload, but they are highly inaccurate and have a long cool down and aim time (especially at far to mid).
Making their rifles more similar to G43's (like Gren and Fuss ones) would work, since yknow the whole semi-automatic thing. I would also remove the flamethrower package (since their gimmick used to be they never exploded and flamer explosions are so rare now it basically doesn't matter) and replace it with commissar upgrade (unlocked after T3 or T4 is built) that makes them fight harder as they die and cheaper to reinforce.

The CAS stukka dive bomb cant 1 shot a KV1...
Yet an IL2 strike can 1 shot an elefant.
Or the IL2 Tank hunter tactics, that has a carpet bomb effect...
And the Brit commando "Air supremacy" bombing run can 1 shot pretty much anything under it, Including OKW trucks, Which again the stukka couldnt do.
Seems abit "rich" to be complaining about an ability which is alot more expensive per bang and makes a loud noise letting everyone in the game know where its gonna land. When the allies have far more potent and cost efficient devastating bomb drops.

allies should have the air and artillery superiority on their side. its quite ironic that honor is mostly given to the axis which is depressing because they are supposed to be a "depleted" force like the brits

Both of them played well and did what was necessary to maximize chances of victory, which in a tournament setting is the only thing that one can expect competitors to do.

People say swarming is legitimate tactic. I would agree if they were coming from different angles and actually using tactical maneuvering.
