Thompsons on the other hand have good DPS up to range 20, on top of having the highest close range DPS in the game (as a squad), so Rangers don't need anything else. As I said, their weapons profile is their unique utility. weapons profile cant be "unique utility" It's much better to use vet riflemans and build 50 cals than to use Ranger There is no reason to use Ranger If you only use them for that purpose, In: Lobby

Putting abilities on a unit just for the sake of it is an awful design philosophy. If you attack move a Ranger you're using it wrong.
