Yet you are saying he does not play the game despite the fact you have spent even less time in gime than Katitof. #Logic oh sorry he did play over the last 3 years, but as you can see he barely played in the last couple patches l0l. and my point still stands that he is only theorycrafting without any recently ingame experience AT ALL but acts like he knows everything 100% better than anyone else here. thats why he is such a mastermind at game designing, its a gift given from rngjesus himself to katitof. Despite the fact that Ostheer is a widely popular faction pick in the ESL and often win the games that they are represented(Which people mostly picked Soviets, which also have strong match ups against Ostheer and OKW). The only thing I think is absurdly strong against ostheer is the timing the AEC comes out in. It's like this weird victim complex. On the other hand I whole-heartedly agree that fighting against Soviets is a god damn nightmare. It is related to ostheer having the better matchup against soviets. I mean go play ostheer in 1v1 and you will find out yourself that ukf has on par early game, better midgame, better lategame, that means you will need to put in much more effort to over come your opponent. Also you should notice that veterancy for the mortar pit is only meaningful at vet3 when it get's increased HP. Vet1 is smoke barrage and vet2 is cooldown on barrage. Which site you use then? Actually against good players you struggle to vet the pit up. It gets xp for kills not damage so people who don't leave their units lying around in the open to be mortared don't lose so many models to it. Helps the infantry vet up as they are up against lower health models. Ostheer has plenty of tools for taking pits out, frankly keeping one alive for more than a few minutes is a challenge. Talking of vet though other than vet3 with a health buff and smoke ( I think) at vet2 the vet is useless. There is a recharge time buff for bombard, which is bugged and unused. true it doenst get any range increase it seems, oddly i could have bet. but i digged some numbers out for the xp needed: mortar pit: -480 -960 -1920 Leig: -840 -1680 -3360 seems like its really easy to vet up but maybe my stats site is not correct since it only shows up 3 vet levels for the LEIG, which one is accurate? i used http://www.stat.coh2.hu/vetraw.php?filename=brit_3_inch_mortar_team_mp In: COH2 Balance

Leig gets +15 range at vet 1 which makes it super effective against mortar pits. A single Leig will force brace and repairs. Simply tell it to attack ground on the mortar pit and it will go away. Double Leigs counters all emplacement play, and will also destroy them fairly quickly unless the opponent uses Stead Fast and rushes heavy royal engineers. Triple Leigs will destroy even the most determined emplacement user. keep in mind if you talk about vet that mortar pit gets insane range with vet too and it vets up quite fast. and keep in mind that ostheer doenst have a LEIG, its not only OKW brits are playing against.
