i am really struggling as OKW when facing USF in 1v1. I feel like that is too many volks. You should consider going breakthrough doctrine and getting Pfusiliers out instead. They wreck rifles at every range when upgraded, and have solid DPS without upgrades. I would say 3-4 volks + 2-3 pfus would be a good amount if you want to go infantry heavy. In: Lobby |

I don't think I need to remind you that OKW is "special snowflake." They get the first tank out faster, but losing it is a much bigger blow than it is for other tanks. It's probably better to just ignore OKW on all these discussions. In: COH2 Balance |

Not only t3+t4 after patch instead of pure t4 before patch cost 240mp more, it also cost 50 fuel more. Here is your 2-3m katy delay and 1-2m t34-76 delay thanks to cost reduction of t34-76. True but you have to remember that all faction got their medium stage tech delayed. The manpower increase puts them in line close to Ostheer, and remember that you are getting the benefit fromt Soviet T3 (buildable units), you are just choosing not to use them. In: COH2 Balance |

This thread makes no sense to me. Soviet T4 comes out at around the same time as Ostheer T3, and the T34/76 comes out before the P4. I'm thinking that people are confusing tier number with tier timing. Tier number is just something people use to show at what relative time in a specific faction's tech that a certain building is built. (Ie. T4 after T3) Tier timing is dependent on fuel, and is the true measure of the timing of units, across all factions. You must use tier timing to calculate the correct fuel costs, and in this way soviet t3 is coming at a good time relative to other factions' tech. If you want to rush a T34/76, just don't build anything from Soviet T3. In: COH2 Balance |

I would rather see the SU76 get its penetration reduced to 160/170/180, making it an anti-medium destroyer, not a true tank destroyer. I think that barrage is a cool ability that adds favor to the Soviet lineup, but I think it should also mean that the AT capabilities of the platform suffers (see zis-3). In: COH2 Balance |

Why do Volks and grens need this? Grens aren't supposed yo counter light armor because you already have paks, 222s, and Pshrecks in t2 to do the job for you. If you choose to not tech and use your factions at, you have Noone to blame but yourself. You dont see usf lt players or t1 soviet players complaining that they get hard countered by vehicles.
So in other words, they are stuck doing exactly what usf has been doing? USF has to go captain tier, since their LT tier gets murdered by 222s and okw period. Getting counters is part of the game. You have no business complaining that you have to get counters for certain units, especially when you have easy access to counters for vehicles that also cost fuel to use. If you make the decision to take an extended tier 1, then you must be willing to reap the consequences when the allied player shuts you down with light vehicle play. You got countered, it's part of the game, and all factions have to deal with it.
Overrated? What? Pshrecks allow you to counter all allied armor short of the is2 and isu152, and thus are shit? You can't attack move with them. Use them to support your paks and other at sources, not a blob of long distance death. Squad spacing is an issue, but it affects all factions. I wouldn't consider okw any weaker than usf vs. this for example.
As long as allies need more micro for their lategame, they will be weaker in the lategame. That is just a fact. Okw and ostheer have straight up heavies within their normal tech, not to mention mediums that scale into heavy-mediums with vet. Axis have better scaling units (veterancy + stock upgrades). Scaling is the key word, and it directly translates to a lategame power spike.
You are projecting. There is no "bitter" feelings from the ye Olde days. Axis has a lategame advantage, which can be proved quite empirically with the statistics from 4s and 3s, where the lategame comes much faster. You still haven't given a valid reason for grens and Volks to get at rifle upgrades stock that are far superior to that given for conscripts doctrinally. Hell, you still haven't given a valid reason for this upgrade to be needed at all. In: COH2 Balance |
