I doubt it's the PC or packet loss. High-end PC with 100 mbps cable with no latency or packet loss in any other game or usage.
Can't be the keyboard, b/c when I mouse click a grenade, sometimes it won't take and I'll have to do it again.

not sure if it is a bug or overlooked, but the above video reminds me of using panther in game.
it takes too long to shoot, so that allies tanks are mostly retreated or fire off twice before panther return fire.
besides the vet3 rof bonus takes too long to attain for panther vis a vis allies TD.
the thing is.. everyone listen... please. the panther user didnt chase the enemy tank enough to be in range when his shell was ready to fire. so what happened was he was out of range by the time his shell was reloaded. if he chased a bit in there he would have gotten the shot off. he was just afriad of chancing his tank which he shouldnt have been scared with all the deflection power aka armor there is no issue here |
And who are you to pass judgement that the Hetzer's target size is unjustified? I don't see any arguments anywhere.
its really crazy to me how some ppl on here try to defend there hearts out for there most used faction even if something is op or very odd they will try to defend it as much as they can... sometimes it gets really annoying. but anyways I kiinda agree with acid I always thought same thing why is it so small and so damn hard to hit? I feel the size should also be changed to a more normal size. its not meant to be a decoy or a fast evading unit like t70 or luch. its easier to hit a m3 scout car then a hetzer |
It has 260/230/200 pen, which is only enough to reliably penetrate medium tanks (even if it has deflection damage). And it deals 240 damage rather than 300. While this certainly isn't bad, it is not at all comparable to the Elefant (and Jagdtiger) with enough far range pen for a guaranteed penetration on any tank in the game and a significantly lower TTK against most vehicles. Not to mention a roughly 20% slower reload and worse gun traverse. It's good enough at AT, but calling it extremely capable (at AT) is a gross overstatement.
u hit the mark here. elephant and isu have totally different roles in the end its hard to compare. yes isu have HE but u have to constantly switch and wait long times. then switch back when u need to fight a tank and it hardly penetrates a panther. u can dive at a isu with your tanks u cant really dive at a ele unless u rdy to lose half ur armor |

My solution would be to revert the armor back to pre-nerf levels. Right now, Brums are hardcountered by TDs (5% chance to bounce at max range.) KV8s however can bounce every third shot from Stug/JP4/pak/rak (270 armor vs 180-190 pen at max range) and the fact that KV8 has more health too. KV8 bounces more than 5% from panthers. Also, I think the vet 1 shells should fire with faster reload to compensate for significantly higher scatter. Right now the vet 1 ability is as useful as Stug TWP.
Now that people have used the nerfed Brum for a few months, we see a marked decline of the Brum especially in a 1v1. T4 is back to being a dustbin tier for 1v1 after the Brum nerfs. With the ostwind back to being a good unit, few are getting a Brum. The panther right now (for Ost) isn't even a "good" unit anymore, it's a pretty goddamn average unit. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's not a threatening unit which T4 units were supposed to be. It was and is always a good tank for OKW since they don't need to tech for an imaginary "premium" tier.
kv8 is a heavy tank, doctrinal, dont instantly kill models takes time. and if u move itll cut the dmg 2 fold. kv8 cant penetrate a medium tank like a brumbar does to a t76. kv8 dont have a safe way to kill things like the barrage from brum. kv8 dont have smoke ect |
?? They're both off maps bomb strikes. The difference is frag is good vs infantry and stuns tanks, while IL2 kills both.
frag is way to fast and will super own all static units or unwatched units. they are not the same thing. il2 is way slower and u will never hit infantry or tanks like the frag. il2 is useful when using vs stunned/buttoned tanks, or fortifications. |
Ost-Panzer 4 has no benefits with its armor, it is slower and has same HP than the Allii-tanks. (it would woth the price with more HP)
Panther is more difficult to use than all allii-tankhunters. Also with more armor, it simply is to easy to counter with only PaKs. It has bad acc. and bad range as tank-hunter. (it would be ok, if Firefly and Jackson would have 55 range and Panther has normal acc.)
StuG is the only tank worth it. But its pen is so bad, it will have bad card countering effective on larger mulitplyer, because it is simply to easy to out-play it. (it would be ok, if you remove the cric. shot and gibe it the option to change ammo to a high-pen with less damage)
The porblems of Germans get larger and larger in game modes.
Jagdpanzer 4 is a great tank, but I take SU85 over it. It is better to have a Zis and a SU85 than having a Püppchen and a Jagdanzer 4. That is my opinion.

not forsure but a very high chance for gun crit. the ram is useless. make them both stun?maybe thatll be to much unless t76 just take like a shrek amount of dmg. i like the idea u guys were saying about making it always engine dmg like a atnade would when some hp is removed |
Especially in team game which i play mostly 2v2 3v3 4v4. usually the best way to beat a tank is to go around to avoid armor. but when u cant becuz its protected by to much stuff you have to rely on frontal attacks. and thats usually always the case. Allies tanks always get penetrated like almost always. as axis i can literally dive with a panther and fight tanks while i hardly pay attention to them and go do other things and when i come back almost no dmg taken cuz i deflected a ton of shot. and axis tanks also have alot of hp. allies tanks and atguns have lower performance vs armor then axis tanks and atgun, while at the same time having less durability vs axis tanks and atguns making it so easy to lose tanks in a blink of an eye when playing as allies.but on the other side when playin as axis u dont feel threatened.
for example. sometimes itll take 10-12 shots just to kill a panther becuz its armor is deflecting.. your missing shots.... it has high hp...then theres op smoke and reverse. and blits
then with a su85 t76 jackson sherman or anything thats not a heavy will almost every single time no matter what get penetrated and before the fight its in your head already that u only can be in there for 2 at shots wherever its coming from becuz you know how easy they penetrate your tanks.
it dont seem very fair in team games where allies lose tanks so easy even having to worry about all the snare units axis have compared to allies.
ive always felt like there should be an armor bar on each tank. so whenever it gets hit by a shot and deflects, its armor bar will go down and eventually u wont be able to get any deflects until fully repaired. the bar is only for deflects. and tanks like the panther should have a higher armor/deflect bar then allies counterparts.
this is 1 way they can try to make the game more balanced for team games cuz i know in 1v1 this isnt as much an issue but still a tiny problem.
deflecting shouldnt be what players fall on for protection but attention to your units instead to keep them alive. situations like rng/bounces shouldnt call fights. instead attention heavy micro and skill |
