Keep trolling me mate. Seems the mods do nothing anyway. Since WIFIDI is soviet user. They make my post invisible but not Yours. Maybe your performing some favours for them
"Im going to play 1v1 OKW for the rest of the week to prove a point. 3 losses later. Starts playing 2v2, still gets owned.
Lol. Stick to conspam, Maxims, NOOB IS2, Zis3 and Katyusha. aka soviet noob mode
At the end of the day you trolled yourself. You vindicated that you cant use anything except the easy to use races and think just because u can spam rIfleman and scripts that ur hot stuff. Lol. Sleep well at night. You embaressed yourself infront of ur viewers.
Lol what? Von plays well with all factions. You're really going to say one of the top players on this game has gotten there because he plays "easy to use races". Hahaha oh my. |
I think VetLolcake is being very generous with his proposal for balance changes.
Here's what I think should happen:
OKW:
-Volksgrenadiers now get upgraded with 128mm Panzershreks
-Kubelwagon now has 250 frontal armor to give it more longevity
-Jagdtiger is now equipped with 8 turrets, covering all angles so that it never has to rotate
US FORCES:
-Riflemen have been slightly overperforming in the early game, and are now equipped with Super Soakers
-The Sherman Easy 8 has been performing too well for it's cost, and is now made of styrofoam
-The M36 Jackson has had its tracks removed and needs to be pushed by squads of riflemen
It's a work in progress. |
Has anyone yet got the second last ?

I wish i had this plate, but it must be rather rare..
Same. That is a sweet looking faceplate. |
I agree to be honest.
The US is too effective for a variety of reasons. Their kit allows them to deal with most of what OST has at any given time. Early game it is probably the worst, especially with the Rifle Company commander.
All the US player has to do is mass his riflemen, which will easily win any skirmish against your grenadiers. MG's are negated once they get smoke grenades. Even with LMG's on the grens, they'll have either BARs or 1919's on their riflemen, and will be on their way to an M15 or Stuart, both of which are extremely potent against infantry.
The only way to really win (that is, if both factions play with minimal errors) is to hold out until you can call in the heavies. Even then, if the US has the upper hand for most of the game, they will already have fielded several Easy 8's and Jacksons. Those in addition to their AT guns, and there isn't a whole lot you can do with a Tiger.
I just feel like the US is an easy faction to win with. You essentially just spam riflemen, which are one of the best early game infantry units. Once you have the upper hand after the first few engagements, you just snowball from there.
I'm not saying that it is impossible to win as OST, it's just much more difficult than playing against Soviets. |
Smoke grenades and flanking.
Also, as was said, multiple MG's covering each other usually means that they are setting up shop on one point. Just cap the rest of the map, and force him to move around his MG's to react. |
I noticed that with some 2v2 maps as well. Don't worry though, Relic only sent out two patches today, maybe if they release three or four more they'll get it right. |
It's understandable to say that such a thing would go against the faction's "design" as 100% fuel income and the ability to build fuel caches would for OKW.
Honestly though, what can they add down the line to these factions that remains within the boundaries of their initial design goals? They are going to add things that give variety to a faction, otherwise the faction gameplay would just become stale.
Who wants to be stuck in the same strategy of massing riflemen, then building Shermans and Jacksons? Sure it's versatile, sure it's mobile, but it get's boring and repetitive. They will eventually need something to give US players different strategies to pursue.
As was stated, the US does have great AT capabilities, but a good chunk of it (namely the riflemen with AT grenades) can be negated with things like MG's and indirect fire. Not to mention that the German heavies can pound infantry squads into nothing with ease. Just because the US has a good, mobile AT platform, doesn't mean adding a Pershing is going to make them unbeatable. Their AT is only as strong as their opponents allow it to be. The addition of a Pershing will grant some longevity to their frontline. |
I don't understand why so many of you are saying the devs aren't into supplying the Pershing. What about the US Forces in CoH2 is different than that of vCoH? Well, their base mechanics and how they tech is ultimately very different, but does that constitute that they shouldn't get a heavy in CoH2 because they certainly had one in vCoH. So they initially gave off the notion that they aren't planning on putting a heavy into the game for the US, that doesn't immediately say "No, there will never be one" to me.
Look at the tank variety they had in vCoH. Why is it so hard to imagine that they may add more things like that in the future. Do you really think that they are going to keep the same structure for the US for the rest of the this game's life?
I understand it may be months down the line, but many of you guys simply believe US would never get a heavy, or at least some type of variety in their armor platform. To me, if they kept the same armor arsenal that they have now, with only adding commanders that offered no real variety in terms of armor support, it would become a pretty bland faction, pretty quickly.
I'm just looking at this from an entertainment standpoint. So they want to maintain the "mobility" of the US Forces. Adding one commander that utilizes a strong, slow-moving force doesn't automatically negate that goal. The US is still the most mobile faction, they just have other avenues they can pursue (i.e. a Pershing commander) if they so choose. |
I would honestly be okay with a Jumbo Sherman. I guess I just want to see US armor that doesn't have to be spammed to be effective late game.
That and Rangers. Rangers were great. |
Yeah they're very fragile. The only real uses I see them having are the ones you stated. Their ability to come out of buildings behind enemy lines can really turn engagements in your favor. |
