50cal mgs ought to have light armour capability but they don't.
However the main advantage you've got in Lend Lease is that you can go T1/T4, still get an MG and still get a halftrack
Yep, the DShK isn't great at the moment.
Oh, and don't forget the M4C either. It's not as good against tanks as the Easy 8, but it's rate of fire is pretty high.
The Assault Guards (or whatever they're called) that come with the Halftrack aren't bad either. |

I for one am excited to see where this is going, as well as *maybe* the possibility to use some of the abilities that don't see much use because they're in crap commanders. |

They are.
Their Early- and Mid-Game is too good against Ostheer, and okay against OKW.
After that? They're baaaad.
They don't have a way to carry over their advantage into the lategame, once Tigers and Panthers come out.
Their veterancy bonuses are also worse than those of the other factions. |

Another thing they could do with the exisiting commanders would be, for example, to break down all the commanders any player posesses into their component abilities, or even into Supply, and let us build whatever we want from the parts.
This way, a player that got, say, the Elite Troops Doctrine before, would now be able to include its unique abilties (Tiger Ace, Troop Training, Stun Grenade) into custom commanders, whereas someone that didn't would have to hope for a lucky drop from a package bought with Supply or such.

My 0.02€:
If you think buying the original game should give you access to all future content.. no. That's not how any of this works, or has worked for a few years now.
Personally, I hope to get some recompense for the Commanders I bought, if not those I found, and I reckon that's about all I can expect.
If I decide I don't like whatever new content is coming, I can just not pay for it. So, until we know more, I'm not worried.
Edit: About the balance thing: 1v1 is and always will be the competitive mode, deal with it. |

About the Supply thing.. is it possible that instead of getting items from Warspoils, we'll get Supply and be able to buy stuff (bulletins, commanders etc.) we want with it?
Or alternatively, be able to convert drops into Supply? |

There's also one with the ISU and Shock Troops, which isn't bad either.
In fact, Guards aren't all that good right now. |
