It's something that can help seal the deal late game, but it's not going to stop you from losing before it comes out obviously. A well controlled ace can kill many mediums on its own without support. Mines are the way to stop the ace. Or a surround (if hes dumb enough to let you do it) Besides that my argument was not when it comes out, Its that its very effective along with the panther, When you said ele was the only good Wehr tank. Tiger ace and Panther do what they are meant to do. Stug IIIe also fulfills this role (although OP) In: COH2 Gameplay

Infact, the Elefant is the best Ostheer tank in the game at he moment, as far as doing what it's supposed to effectively. Tiger ace would like a word with you.. I feel like they have been incrementally setting the multiplayer up into a F2P system since shortly after release. Perhaps the patch that they are working on will do just that. One could hope that we could get weekly/monthly balance patches after that since there would be a revenue stream involved as an incentive to keep the player base happy. While it may seem like this could be a logical conclusion, We have no hard evidence to back this up. On a side note if relic dose do this you can be sure that they will screw it up. We wont get a good F2P experience like LoL or Path of Exile. (Despite how a lot of people feel about LoL it has a awesome F2P system) They can't even fix the graphical bugs that plague the game along with performance issues. You sacrifice a lot as Ostheer to go for this commander, as you have no Tiger, and if you decide to spam the abilities you will be converting fuel to munitions. Being able to build one unit to counter a players entire commander choice would be pretty lame... almost as lame as the whole commander v commander strategic mechanic. (CAS v on map arty, Spearhead v SU FHQ etc etc) Being pigeonholed into a commander choice in order to deal with your opponents commander limits your options and discourages choosing commanders that require an immediate investment like Ostruppen. It's just bad design. It would be totally fine if commanders were free and we had access to all of them at once, as that would really open the playing field up, but as it stands now...it's just bad. This pretty much sums it up. CAS to stop B4 Stuka to stop FHQ TA / Ele to stop Jackson spam 251/17 to stop P47 spam (or hulldown ostwind) Same stuff different day. In: COH2 Gameplay

My team faced it couple of times and it always was a roll over for ger. It depends on the map, On lienne forest it is near impossible to prevent it. Comes down to this basically: He is cutting squads and map presence to do it, So you have a very small window to push and push very hard to stop it while setting up mines everywhere You have to have mines down to stop a 15m KT. You won't see a lot out of the Wehr player who is spamming it. It is about the same difficulty to stop as is FHQ spam on rostov. In: COH2 Gameplay

Yes i do know that but i have had it fail on weird angles. Trees or buildings can sometimes block the AT strafe's approach as well. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Allied Early Game in 3v3+19 Feb 2015, 16:44 PM This is not necessarily true. You push when you have a advantage period it doesn't matter what faction you are playing. The problem with teching up to T3/T4 is when your using a call in unit as your primary armor, Such as T34/85, M4C, Your cutting two tanks by making a single tank from a tier building. Doing this decreases your shock value of your medium swarm and you need that high shock value to deal with German armor having two less T34/85 or M4C is really bad if you need to surround a tank. In USF's case, Jackson is so strong that you want it behind your EZ8 and the EZ8 is more of a meat tank than anything. Not to mention that teching to major is cheap. To that effect i feel that P47 is generally a better choice. Medium swarm & mines is the late game for allied armor in team games. Having one of your teammates go Sov industry is a good way to take advantage of T34/76 early game and is good chump tanks while the more valuable tanks go in for the kill late game. In: COH2 Gameplay
