A well microed sniper will garden up the Rangers pretty good. If that's not working for you, an Ostwind will do it, too. Two paks and target weak point will make short work of the Pershing. Just be sure to spread them out enough that smoke won't get both.
IMO this is one of the better balanced doctrines to be added. Not nearly as problematic as rifle. Or elite troops/industry in their heyday. |
Voice & gesture controls could be precise and fast enough to allow competitive RTS play. Game pad controls on the other hand would be laughably awful. |
Thing is, it's hard to know what the point of the ability is if it isn't truck killing. It's so slow to land that barring heavy engine damage everything can get away in time.
I think that it'd be much improved if they'd add some counter-play. Make it reasonably clear where the planes are coming from, then lengthen the timer, and give the OKW player the opportunity to shoot them down. This would still punish brainless turtling, but it would be (1) more fair and (2) create a neat little emergent mission in which the Brit tries to screen out the AA and the OKW tries to get a shoot down.
(This is assuming that Relic won't be reasonable and nerf damage + lower the cost)

At the VERY least we should be able to fire the smoke pots without the tank stopping in place FFS.
That seems like it would be pretty OP with the way that infantry squishing works. Toss a smoke pot into a group, charge in and mow everybody down. |

If I could wave a magic wand and change the mortar pit, I think that I'd split it in half. 325 MP for the mortar, 75 for the pit. Allow the mortar to move, but only let it fire inside a pit. |

There are 3 different bugs. One is easy to reproduce with minimal effects, the other is hard/i'm not sure if i've the right steps.
Bug1:
Been able to play with X faction with commanders from another Y faction.
Steps: You just need to switch faction the moment a party is gonna start searching for a game. Theres a 1-3s window time to do this.
Effects: You'll be playing with the faction you first choose, with the commanders from the 2nd faction.
Once you choose a commander ingame, they just dissapear. The only effect i have been able to use is Radio intercept as OH, and maybe it might work with Soviet industry (don't have it).
Bug2: been able to play with the commanders from another faction.
Dunno how it works, as i've only been able to reproduce bug1
Bug3: been able to play with another opposite factions with the proper commanders. AKA playing with Axis party with USF/SU/UKF or viceversa.
