Watch the videos that relic are releasing and just absorb the information there. lifting the NDA would not give you much more information that would be useful. Also things in the alpha are constantly changing (2 patches a week) and some key units have changed significantly since. Whatever relic hasn't disclosed is definitely up for changing. I would imagine the units would stay the same, but their cost and performance will all be tweaked in the next couple of weeks (not to mention some soviet + whermact units too) |
Paid commanders are fine. They all add new units/abilities and that's generally worth something. People wouldn't complain unless they were OP. The last 2 commanders given (for free) were fantastic and balanced as well. Hopefully we can see more commanders like that in the future. |
Tales of Valor for the original CoH tried to do a lot of things but in the end it wasn't given a great deal of attention in development and in the end it just split the player base a bit and you really could never get an online game a couple of months after launch. I actually loved panzerkreig, was awesome fun.
A stonewall mode however would be okay for CoH2 as it pretty much puts all the skirmish players on the same page. If you look at 75% of the custom maps made for CoH2 so far they try to simulate a defense mission. Perhaps someone could script something into custom maps so they could make maps like this? |
while the Su-85 can already luckily snipe an infantry or 2 (once 3!), i'd rather it be good only vs Tanks at this stage. If anything the Su-76 is there to snipe infantry, although it still isn't accurate/reliable enough to do so.
Su85 is meant to be hard countered by panzergrenadiers as well, as a tank destroyer it needs to be supported by anti-infantry units (e.g. HMG) to survive. |
