Thread: Recon Company // Mechanized Company6 May 2016, 15:15 PM Recon company needs a fix for the last ability. 900mp is far too much for it to be useful in any way. Mechanised company is fine. I would personally the M3 with assault engineers be an M5 with assault engineers at 4cp or something. These half track with infantry callins simply cost too much manpower, and some bulk discount needs to be given to make it viable. Withdraw a WC51 the second they get Schrecks and it costs 60mp, 5 fuel, and whatever upkeep cost is. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: WC51 = Scoutcar 222 according to cost28 Apr 2016, 12:48 PM WC51 is strong instant T0. Better than the scout car and Bren Carrier that come out at the same/similar time. Fuel cost is justified (and i use them all the time!). With withdraw and refit cost is really 60mp/5 fuel anyway, and you should withdraw them after getting to 2cp. 222 could use a very slight cost increase (maybe to 240/20). In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Tank Crush for Fun and Profit11 Apr 2016, 10:12 AM as stated above, Crush is best used with the Cromwell. It's extremely easy with that. The M10 is 2nd easiest. Every other tank will more reliably crush suppressed infantry. The lightest tank that can crush is Su76. It won't work well, but if your opponent doesn't know about this it can be a good surprise . Question: Do the axis tanks crush well when on Blitzkrieg? Question 2: Is vehicle rotation speed the main factor with crush? In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: 4V4 OP OKW invincible early game vs USF19 Mar 2016, 06:18 AM Wc51 + Rifles vs anything OKW (but raketen who noone builds straight up) = Win. If you need help early game go mechanised and you'll usually force them to retreat a very long way. Rifles will beat sturms who close in on max range (rifles need to stand still). Rear Echelon is for capping or hogging a building only. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: We need more new unit, new faction , not balance only 18 Mar 2016, 08:21 AM New units will unfortunately only come with new commanders. I think relic believe it's part of the essence of a CoH game (where commanders fill various holes in faction lineups) but i would be much happier if factions had close to 20 buildable units in them rather than the 12-15 they normally have. Maybe next game... Also with balance they'd need to be mostly useful. In: Lobby
Thread: WC51 Truck18 Mar 2016, 08:17 AM Wc51 crushes OKW starts and Assault Grenadier Starts, however i'd restrict to using it against OKW because of the risk of Panzerfaust. Light vehicles should not be plural, since it can only take on a kubel! The idea is to get it within close range (with a rifle squad in it), shoot for 5-10 seconds to make a squad retreat, then reverse back and repair the trucks - rinse and repeat for 5 minutes. The power of this commander is that if you do well with a 2x WC51 and Rifle start, you can steamroll this into a fast Stuart tank + Pack howi at 2 CP using withdraw & refit + Captain production boost. The Wc51 becomes completely redundant after 6 minute mark of games (when people start getting 222s or luchs out). I'm a 3v3/4v4 player mostly, in 1v1 i could see it more useless as it denies a lot of capping power. In: COH2 Balance

I think the T70 might be able to 1v1 a luchs if done correctly so there's an obvious advantage there, but you'll want to suppress OKW volks blobs from afar with the quad. In: Lobby
