Pershing needs a timing nerf

it can stay like it is but it should be able to come on the field way later like elephant or jagdtiger. dont compare it to tiger because the performance is just two different worlds.
just compare tiger and pershing vs at tanks, tiger looses to any at on a 1v1 but pershing will win most of time especially vs jagdpanzer 4. okw is just fucked playing with at guns vs pershings

All super heavy tanks need to be delayed.
Agreed, can’t wait for the heavy tank overhaul.
Oh...wait.

Kinda silly that we click the largest and most powerful tanks into existence but have to wait for scout cars and kubelwagens to get built

I think giving all heavies build timers would be a positive change in this issue.

I like calling them in though It would be a fair balance change, but in the absence of that increasing cp by 1 would help.
The issue is when there is a Heavy tank out before say the 1st medium tank of a behind player, it's pretty much a gg button in some cases.

Agreed. I don't get latest patch after playing.
If you want make heavy more involved. They should take time but make them more powerful like hero units. Now the medium window can skip to wait out for call in.

I agree with this. Imo all call ins should be built, in the HQ if nothing else. No panic call ins that way

When one side has such a major advantage that they can get a (super) heavy tank at the time the opponent gets their first medium tank, it should be pretty much gg.

Yes and this is actually the main problem with usf. They have strong enough infantry to hold the early and mid game and can just rush for pershings.
Udssr, ost, okw and brits all get their heavys way later and that should be fixed. It cant be u play vs usf and get the same amount of fuel out but usf is coming in with a pershing while okw gets a puma and at gun on the field at the same time.
I played now enough games after the patch on 3v3 and 4v4, usf is always the first to get super heavy out if the game is balanced by map control from both sides. On german side 2 at guns or 1 at gun and panther is needed by the time pershing arrives. Now everyone can imagine how hatd it is to hold 2 at guns alive vs usf inf blob and pershing......

If you built something like a Flak ht with Okw, a pershing deploying at the same time as a p4 represents about a ~40 fuel lead, gg doesn't really seem reasonable.
In particular for axis I think the P4 has trouble scaling against Heavies with it's low pen so it's tough to justify purchasing when you know a heavy is in the opponents loadout.
Often better to just build light vehicles, stall and then callin your own heavy. There's just not as much space for mediums to be effective when they don't scale very well against them. It's a meta issue as much as it is a snowballing one with the current timing.

But that's an issue every medium tank faces. Risk building a Sherman or Cromwell over Jackson or Firefly when you know the enemy has Panther or Tiger in a few minutes?

Udssr, ost, okw and brits all get their heavys way later [than USF gets the Pershing] and that should be fixed
Fastest way to a heavy:
OKW (15+25+15+60+60+230-10=) 395 fuel for Tiger;
SOV (10+85+90+230-20=) 395 fuel for IS-2;
OST (40+90+25+230-20=) 365 fuel for Tiger, +10/20/15 if getting any tier buildings;
USF (35+20+120+230-20=) 385 fuel for Pershing.
So, even though I'd agree Pershing seems just a little bit too powerful at its current timing (solved by making it slightly more expensive and/or increasing its veterancy requirements to reduce how fast it scales imo), other factions do not get their heavies "way later". They are all pretty much in line right now.

Was adding build timers ever an option or idea? I feel like it would be a good change for all heavy tanks. Adds a little delay, especially for replacing them when they get lost. In some team games you see people replacing them instantly

KT + JP4 non-doc combo is very tough to deal with when they camp a VP. It used to be good before but now it's even better. KT can't be rushed, takes a lot of popcap and is not very mobile after the vet changes with blitz at v3 so it's not a huge issue, but it's still very powerful once both units are available.
Heavies are too meta in 2v2 for my liking and I wish more love was given to medium tanks. Comet is still overpriced.

U can not compare tiger and pershing. Its more tiger 2 and tiger ace. Tiger is never as powerfull as a pershing, in no way. Tiger 2 needs all buildings drove on map and deployed + extra 270 fuel. Now rwgardimg the time it takes to deploy them and the fuel it is an ok timing. But pershing comes out without this time "loose" and has same impact as tiger2

I agree. Comet isn't bad now, it's actually pretty fun to use if you use grenade + WP + smoke + emergency war speed but I don't understand why it costs Hammer tech + 185 fuel. That's just insanely expensive considering you will never build more than 1-2 Comets unless the game is very one-sided.
