On topic so mods don't invis me D: : I like the upgrade. Makes the M20 cheap and they aren't required for the M20 to function. Risk vs reward IMO.

Seems kinda silly to attach a muni cost to make the m20 usable. It was a bad idea with the 222, and grayhound, and its a bad idea with the m20. I simply propose increasing the m20s cost by 5-10 fuel and 50-100 mp, either upfront and giving it the upgrade at the start, or, like the changes to the bulldozer sherman upgrade, as the cost for the upgrade.
yo i like the idea and i agree with u. theres alot of tree to get this thing up and running. u gta get that upgrade to buy them, then u gota spend a insane amount of muni on upgrade. i think start it with the upgrade and increase cost by 60mp. i think it still will be balanced if u gave the mini armor boost free. just like if u removed the flak from okw flak truck

It is a good unit to spam b/c of the low fuel cost, manpower cost is fine though I think, you usually have to wait for manpower to build it in a 3 rifle lt build

There is almost nothing else to spend munitions on early so its upgraded every game, it's a weird upgrade.

Nothing to spend muni on, besides grenades and weapon upgrades
Also, light spam doesn't really end well. But a fuel cost increase would discourage the preupgraded m20 being spammed

If you build a 4 or 5 minute m20 you do not yet have weapon racks or grenades unlocked. Later on the upgrade will have an impact but rarely have i seen a player without the munitions to upgrade the first m20.
As for Spamming it, Replacing an m20 or building a second one for 20 fuel does not significantly impact teching speed, you can build 3 m20s for less than 1 stuart. An m5 or 221 is only 15 fuel but are very much inferior to the 20 fuel m20 after that skirts upgrade.

I also like it like this. Sometimes late game Ill get one to lay mines or as a throw away with raid/ try and snag rocket arty out of position. Increasing the cost makes it more pricey to do so and I'm not a fan.

It's one of the few good ideas I have seen around here, it let's the M20 have munitions for it's other abilities all while making it a bit more costly to be at full strength, which is good seeing how dominant it has become once again in the USF meta.

But...
I think a muni cost for a stats upgrade is a good idea though, it just changes the main unit requeriments, but USF also uses muni for other more important upgrades therefore it ends being too costly.

And, if you get an M20 later on to lay mines, you can skip the skirts as they're not going to do much against late game vehicles.
