I like the changes to art work. The changed portrait look more similar to the other COH 2 portraits.

It is good start! But i would like to mention several issues:
1. Eyes. To easy recognisable, that they were taken from other portraits. Some polish required.
2. Size of the portraits. All commanders portraits have resolution 144x192. Example:

3. Taking faces from other portraits would be confusing, when you will create mini version of the portrait. Good combined parts of the faces for portraits looks like here:

If he need original assets without additional effects from 2013 alpha - PM me, and i will send them. :)

The British Lend-Lease commander's portrait is wrong. No British officer would sit for a portrait while sporting a beard - it's against regulations (unless he's a Sikh, which he doesn't appear to be).

A small detail - on the Soviet commander buttonholes clearly visible infantry emblem, but the color of the infantry is dark crimson

Airborne used the Air Force buttonhole

Solutions - repaint buttonholes in the color of the infantry or remake in the Air Force. The first option is more simple and realistic - because the new commander objectively does not relate to the Airborne Forces in any way.

The revised or the original?

Either way, we already have a British portrait with a full beard... Advanced Emplacement. Others also feature a 5-o-clock shadow and a mustache.

Mustaches are allowed under regulations; 5 o'clock shadows are a grey area (quite literally for older officers).

I've never liked the Advanced Emplacement commander - I always thought it was his crappy roster but, now I know it's the beard. What's he trying to hide? Or is he just a Drum Major trying to pass himself off as a fighting officer?

These questions need answers.
