USF Mortar Halftrack White Phosphorus Overperforming

To make matter worse you can't just run out of the way as it for some ludicrous reason has a slowing effect. It's arguably even better than late game artillery as 2 or 3 m21's will waste the entire area and even a nearby medic bunker at a cost of 150 manpower and 60 munitions isn't enough.
I would like to see this addressed in the balance update a cost increase would go well to 50 munitions and removing the slowing effect altogether to actually give players a chance to move out of the area would go a long way in balancing this ability.

For only 25 munitions you can saturate an entire area with white phosphorus which very quickly reduces all units in the cloud to an hp of 0 .

they are a great tool, one of my favourite units. Can we also note that usf mortar halftrack has biggest selection of fire options while being cheaper than german variant?
tbf though the german mortar ht can almost shut down any emplacement usage with one or two of them so they earn their cost quickly.

That might be enough tbh. Push the Pw to vet 1,the timed fuse to vet 2 (don't know if anyone has used this post buff but it can mess up sws based pretty hard in a barrage. 2 is enough the kill them)

I had two, decrewed and repairing. And forgot I had them. And bought one to drop some WP rounds on a VP. And then remembered the two in my base were a thing.

Getting 2 or even 3 is not uncommon at all in certain team games maps (like Port of Hamburg) where light vehicles will have a very hard time getting behind enemy lines for a dive. And as long as they can fire with impunity (while your ally holds the line) they are genuinely very hard to deal with.

All over all, it is borken.
1. For me, the mortar halftrack should be removed for US and get a UK unit. M8A1 Howitzer replaces it in commanders.
2. normal US mortar gets phosphor, but nerf it. e.g. remove the shooting blocker ability.
Mortar and Howitzer are enough, they don't need more stock units.
