Should KV1 get 'Inspire' ability?

KV1 is borderline OP. It's literally a Churchill with damage reduction and faster repairs.
No. KV1 is just a poor man´s Churchill. Churchill has more HP, better pen, better scatter, better mobility, smoke, grenades and access to heavy sappers with increased repair speed. The T34/76 maingun is terrible on a tank that cant get to the rear armor of it´s counterparts. It´s also very RNG to hit infantry while the Churchill has extremly low scatter and just racks up infantry kills reliably.

KV-1 is fine, beats Panzer 4 H for the same fuel cost. Most of the issue comes from the fa t that T-34-85 is just much better as option. The ability to capture point doesn't make sense tho, i'll rather give it some new ability not some aura thing. Faster reload but is stationary mode ?
I agree with this 99%. The 1% I don't agree with is the fact that the Pz4 H is the OST variant and the J is the OKW one at 140F I don't see why people expect this tank to be a 145F former KT power unit. This unit currently can trade very well with Pz4 but loses to panthers. It's situational and is very good at countering puma and pz4 spam. T34/85s are OP IMO. For 130F they have a better gun, better MGs, 800HP, and decent mobility that can out trade P4s easily so long as RNGesus decides to not swing the matchup.

What abour the ability to deal suppression but having the tank advance slower ?
Depends on cost and effect, but the fact that you can have supperssion on durable mobile on demand - IMO that would be OP. It is ok to have such effect on units with certain time window of viability or on commander abilities with red smoke (dodgeable).

KV-1 800 HP/0.8 = 1.000HP
Churchill 1400 HP
KV-1 Armor 270/165
Chur Armor: 240/180
KV-1 TS 25
Chur TS 26
KV-1 mobility Speed: 5.1 Accel: 1.6 Rotate: 30
Chur mobility Speed: 4 Accel: 3.5 Rotate: 32
KV-1 Penetration 120/100/80
Chur Penetration 135/120/105
KV-1
Scatter angle 7.5
Distance offset 0.25
Distance ratio 1
Distance max 6.9
Chur
Scatter angle 6
Distance offset 0.3
Distance ratio 1
Distance max 6.2
KV-1 80 DMG distance 1.11
Chur 80 DMG distance 0.88
They are actually comparable.

You can't be serious. Borderline OP? The KV1?
Of course it repairs faster, it also dies faster too. Isn't that an amazing coincidence?

Is that how health works? The mods should make a sticky for the seemingly large amount of players who don't know that...

When it comes to repairs that unis is repaired 25% faster.

I remember awhile back before it got cut was giving the KV-1 the ability to hulldown itself.
It suits the unit that is meant to be a damage sponge. Inspire is nice and does suit tanks meant to lead the charge, but so would a defensive ability allowing it to sit in a defensive line and be un-movable brick.
It should be reduced reload then, instead of damage reduction. Fighting a cheap tank that can bring itself to Churchills level of HP would be very tedious.

140 fuel is cheap now?
Also, KV-1 problem isn't durability, but pitiful firepower, a flanking gun on a platform that can't flank.

145 fuel for 1333 HP when hulled down would be cheap, yes, considering you wouldn't have to tech anvil first.
Setting up for -20% reload and +25% range would be more interesting.

Having damage reduction means that each standard shot does 128 damage thus although its only 800 HP its EHP is 1.000.

And as you already pointed out, the Churchill still has another 400 effective health on top of that.
The fact that we're even listing repair speed as one of the features of the KV1 kinda tells you everything you need to know. The kv1 got that bonus in the first place because it wasn't worth the repair time, much less the cost...

And on top of that, churchill has heavy engineers repairing it fast anyway AND it still has much better gun.

Regardless I think offensive bonuses over defensive of hulled down is probably the way to go given its already high durability
I agree, not to mention the fact that in order for hull down to be effective, good offensive power is usually needed. Otherwise it's just an immobile sponge

It gets a damage reduction which allows it to repair faster. It doesn't neccesarily die faster since it has more armor but one shot less worth of health so it depends on what it shooting at it. Only panthers and heavy/superheavies pen everytime so they'd rather face KV1, but anything less bounce off the KV1 a reasonable amount. Damage reduction also means units get less vet shooting at it as well. It's already compensated by being cheaper than the Churchill too.

140 f for a 7hit, 270 armor sponge, yes that's cheap. Churchill is 160f for an 8hit 240 armor sponge and requires further tech.
