light vehicles. If they go shocks before t70 you 222 or 251 shall have enough time to do the job.

Shocktroopers cost a lot of MP and Zis is more expensive than other AT guns.

But shock troops in m3 counter axis.

As for counters, panzergrenadiers can work wonders if the enemy doesn't pay attention and just walks onto their grenade.

Exactly what Katitof said. You have to rely on support in order to counter shocktroops. There is not a single unit that can counter it on its own especially Pzgrens.

Pzgrens are good but not good enough to take on Shock Troops on its own but it is certainly better than Grenadier.

Even Piooner with Flamethrower and Gren with MG will most certainly do a good job together.

If the SU player is good, he would use smoke to conceal himself from MG to avoid supression. The best idea is to reposition and support it. 2 MGs supporting each other is sometimes a good option but even better if you have a Pio with flamethrower and best if it were Panzergrenadier (although it is hard to get them sometimes). Most of the time you would have grenadier, make sure you support your MG.

If you have 2 or more grens, create a distance from each other to make it harder for Shock to pin point everybody close by.

Vehicles generally are best, light vehicles however for Wehrmacht are definitely alright at countering them, you will force them to retreat in most cases unless they have support.

I would say get Ostwind but it is underperforming currently, so it would be better going for PanzerIV. It depends on the situation really.

Sniper is good also.

It is definitely not impossible but can be very tough especially in maps that are urban.

Pgrens can take them defensively; they're my go-to infantry counter to shocks if I need one. They're great for protecting mg42s when shocks smoke and flank or whatever. Just watch for nades and don't forget to use your own.

A function stock lineup with multiple viable units unread on 1 that needs to be spammed of you intend to win

G43 on pgrens is basically a downgrade, why would you use it?

Sir Farlon, if i would have said, that the Pgrenz SHOULD HAVE G43, i would have said _ON_ PGRENZ.

But when you don't have G43's.. then pgrenz. But you need to let him come to you.

I was giving out 2 Solutions.

Misunderstood then, apologies. MG42 on grens still seems like a better idea than G43's which are a close range weapon (and shocks excel at that range)

G43 are Mid Range Weapons, also when dealt enough damage, can already snipe one of the models.. then it will be ping .. ping..ping.. schocks down to 3 men when they reach you, or your opponent retreats before (That is of course the "best case scenario").

Gren g43 doesn't snipe. Only JLI g43 snipes
