I was testing Pumas in the Cheat Mod, and I discovered the Aimed Shot stun isn't working on the Churchill Crocodile: the Croc's turret still rotates and fires.

AFAIK the main gun on the croc is considered to be the flamethrower. I assume it has some funky interactions with vehicle crits.

The flamer kept working too.

It would. Aimed shot doesn't disable the gun, only the tarverse. And the Croc already has to spin the hull to aim it, for the most part.

It's a turret lock, not a gun disable.

It stunned the IS-2.

Edit: It did not stun the IS-2, but a quirk of the AI made it appear that way.

NO, aimed shot doesn't stun anything. It just locks the turret in place so it can't traverse or swivel.

It doesn't disable the weapon, it just blocks it from rotating.

Tested the IS-2 again. It is just a turret lock, but the pathing engine doesn't seem to get the memo.

Tell a turret-locked tank to fire at a target it isn't facing, and it won't turn. You have to reface it manually. A tank on Attack Move will just sit there like a potato until the lock wears off.

Gonna assume this is a bug due to the Churchill Crocodile having the flamethrower on hardpoint 01 and the gun on hardpoint 02, and the Puma's Aimed Shot ability presumably targeting hardpoint 01.

Might be easy to resolve by just switching the hardpoints around but I'm not a modder. I'll see if we can look into it in a future patch.

Not 100% sure, but I think that if you do that, then when you click on enemy squad it will just rotate turret and shoot it instead of rotating whole tank and using the flamer. That is what t-34 does in similar situation: it has the gun at hardpoint 1 and you have to manually rotate it to make it use its awesome front armour mg.
