Yeah that's gonna be a pain in the ass for some players. And how do you communicate this with refs then, that it's impossible to play, postpone the match? :/

Sounds intresting! But people c ould use that after thei got rekt from someone and then blame it on input lag :/

I guess it is the time for players to record their games when playing in a tourney.

The rule should be that this input lag cannot affect the result of games that have been played already or are being played atm. So you cannot come after the match and say "I had lag last game, the match doesnt count".

So the only thing that can happen is that you report the server lag to the organizers or referees, then they decide about the following games... whether they should be played now or at another time. And only if more than 1 player of the tournament reports the lags... or something like that.


I know it sucks if you have lag in 1 match now and may lose it cuz of that... but only in this way there is no abuse.


NOTE that everything what I have written above is pure speculation or suggesting by me... it is NOT the actual confirmed tournament rule.

Ok so today has been the absolute worst, ever. I constantly had 1-2 seconds lag since yesterday evening, nonstop.

The ingame screen showed that I had 200-900ms delay (the values jumped a lot) to the relic servers, even tho my home internet is like this:






The CoH2 servers are located in New York, right? If I test the connection with a random NY server, I get results along those lines:




Relic why :( Those results should be perfectly acceptable

i have tried and looked up a lot of things, to figure out what was going on, i have similar results as you do.

Relic servers are a little bit more west than NY tho!

Yeah, the game is literally unplayable for me the last few days. In the past i had like 1s delay at max and now its between 2s-10s.

i usually get small lag after game starts (around 5-10 mins 1 or less sec delay) but today it was perma since begining and delay was 2-5 sec with a lot of freezes
i checked my net via speedtest and it shows that ping is 10ms

Ikab had some input delay issues too today, but he didn't have it before.

Might be that this is another issue coming up now.

I have problems since yesterday, never had any problems before. My internet is finde, but i have occasionally lags in game.

There is Steam issues atm appareantly. :/ But the input lag has for some people the connection issue aswell, but mostly ingame then

ok so I just played another match, but this time with 70ms delay, one of the smoothest game I've ever had (24 hours earlier I still had crazy lag).
