I know this has been topic before and probably talked to death already, but i really want this commander to be bit better. Flamethrower for rear echies and easy eights are still very good, but i still think they aren't really need something. As someone said in new commander discussion thread, the sherman 76 should be like t 34-85 and easy eight on level of comet or panther with reduced anti infantry capabilities.
But my personal reason id like to see changes in this doc is the fire up and flares. Individually they are really good abilities, but they are not worth entire commander slot. I have an idea of melding both abilities into diffirent abilities. Fire up could be merged into rifleman field defences and be renamed into riflemen field training, while flares could be merged into m1919 ability and be named riflemen support package. This would do few things. It could make infantry company much more worthwhile choice, as sprint and flares could give it some attraction in 1v1s or 2v2s, though possibility of being too strong in big team games would be possible. Heavy cavalry would not change much, but sprint could add extra twist and even tactical support company would get some new air with flare. And also rifle company would get lmgs, making it more like "rifle company" as it gives actual abilities to them.
This might however make it too strong. I can completely see how existing rifle company would become absolute meta with now rifles capable of getting lmgs and their own sandbags with already existing stuff.
But that is what we can discuss about here, is it just plain stupid idea or is there something in this idea to use? Feel free to leave some feedback.

Buffing units and abilities all the time is step in the wrong direction imo. It makes battles sorter and more RNG.

i agree, riflemen feels pretty lackluster. i havent seen someone picking this commander in a while and i understand why.
It feels like they implemented the sprint ability because they had to remove the Vet Squad (which was not well through in the first place) and had nothing innovative to place it in its stead. They just thought "soviets and axis have one, cmon why not"..
The flamethrower should not be doctrinal.
The phosperous barage is allright i guess.
The Easy eight was a superior sherman once and now feels redundant. A mix between sherman and wolverine that doesnt pay of for its price.

76mm APCR got much more pen then E8 at any distance.

Not really, Easy8 720 HP for years now (from release if I am not mistaken).
