I am talking about comparing JLI with call-in infantry Patherfinder here.

And light tanks are counters to JLI, so I think they are related to the topic with JLI.

You don't need guards, M3 and Universal Carrier both can win one-on-one with 221. And M3 only cost 5 fuel and UC cost no fuel. You can try that in cheat mode.

For utility, 221 can only dispatch medic, nothing more. M3 and UC can transport infantry. I think transport ability is useful for a vehicle who can not capture. Don't you think so?



i just did... the M3A1 loses to the 221... the M3A1 costs 15 fuel while the 221 costs 20...
it also gains smoke at vet 1 and riegel mines at vet 5
its stronger than you think...

After running several tests by myself. I think we should increase JLI's price.

Here is the reference:


Without G43 upgrade, they have similar performance with Pathfinder.

With G43 upgrade, they basically trampled Pathfinder.

Are you paying attention? JLI with any support is problematic because of the crit snipe being after only 20 points of damage. Closing against JLI and stg volks will net the Soviet player alot of bleed and not necessarily infliciting any. If volks were not gifted STGs it might be a different story but the closer you get to the JLI the more damage you will take and have been taking. Clown caring after JLI souls great, but where's that camo rak hiding? Oh. Looks like you have been fausted. Hey you just gifted the enemy 5 fuel and set yourself back 15! Jolly good show.

Move the crit to 60% or 55% and see how that looks. Maybe adjust vet to allow sniping at a higher threshold. As it is they simply hit too hard and synergize too well with do it all already volks. JLI are a force multiplier for a unit that already punches above its weight.

2. shocks still get critted by JLI... the more expensive the squad the more vulnerable to JLI
3. clowncar is easily counterable by the midgame
4. OKW can go mechanized aswell and has rakatenwerfers...

Maybe Relic can now remove STGs from Volks, OKW would relic on various "elite" infantry to do the dps while volks keep their main task: soak damage.

Do you really need someone to explain to you how a unit with a turret beats a unit without it when they have same range?

You are lying. The 221 actually struggles against a kubelwagen because the 221 lacks penetration while the kubelwagen actually has some.

250mp is really too cheap, any other kind of play is okay from okw, even when I face top10 player. But with light jaegers i have problems vs top 200 players. How absurd is that.Is that such a hard thing to make them cost more? Where is hotfix for that?
