That one is possible. Some tanks can get pintle MGs and/or spotters too, but that's about it.

Those commanders hadnt worked in the past and they wont work now.
CoH2 is a game where u have to earn vet for your units. You have to keep your army alive. A commander who will break those fundamental mechanic will never work.
I hope for some unit exchange commanders like a Pak 40 for the Westheer and/or a special Sherman commander for Brits or Soviets (land lease commander) or new gameplay elements like a soviet airborne commander (soviet paratroopers and/or dropable soviet weapons).
Those would be my wish list for new commanders

KV-1, KV-8 had a DT-29 AA machine gun. But they are not in the game.

Yep, if there's no model then there's nothing anyone can do about it. It's possible to add a spotter to the KVs, but that looks pretty bad:

Afaik this is not fix yet.
But i am sure Relic would prefer to rework NEW commanders. I guess most of the reworked docs are fine.
There are way worser old commanders out in the pool.
