Soviet: Commander Defensive tactics (DShK, 120 mm, M-42) and the Commander of the City Defense (Forward Headquarters) are the most useless and stupid designs. This is my offer for rework.

Good to know Relic is still invested, does this mean we could get new models/ingame assets?
Going with the META meme: I'd suggest a Tree Commander - Blocks all arty, can expand to make hedgerow walls around enemy base.

Great news.
Looking forward for the suggestions of the new commanders. In my opinion they should be Coh1 style with a certain theme and not random abilities put together.
For example Wehrmacht could need a mobile 60 range TD in the form of the Jagdpanther or Marder series. Or better: Give them the Hetzer since we already have a skin for that. This just needs to be put into a good theme for the doctrine. Alternatively/ or in the same doc a Panzer III Ausf. M could be used as a light-medium tank Ostheer is lacking.
US could get some Air superiority like the CAS from Ostheer.

Mappatch will be coming before this commanderpatch. Yeah kind of sadly, andy forgot to say it.
Reworkmappatch will be around end August - September.

We're aiming to have the Commander Revamp go live in October/Novemeber and the new commanders hit the game in December. We will have more details on how both of these updates are going to work, and how you can get involved in the coming weeks

- Paratroopers: 6 men, armed with SVT-40, can be armed with PPS-43. Abilities: F1 grenade, explosive. Can be parachuted into the fog of war.
- Parachute anti-tank group: M-42 with crew.
M-42 abilities: camouflage, armour-piercing discarding sabot
crew: conscripts but in parachute skin, ability: merging. PTRS improvement - 2 PTRS, AT grenade, AT mines, camouflage.
- T-38 with a 20-mm cannon, can be delivered to any place on the map (only an explored place). Ability: capture points, intelligence.
- IL-2 support

Remember we can only recucle stuff, like unique abilities and units from campaigns and ToW.
No new things.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

What!? We started slow 5 years ago. Relic been giving us the finger for years, that is the only thing u right about. Finger to us finger, itchy finger to us.
