n0b question about Royal art regi

With so much talk about the Royal Artillery Regiment and how it's complete trash, why do so many people choose it in matches? Personally i prefer the special weapons regiment in any game, but i usually get paired up with people who've got the 2 croc regiments (Special Weapons & Vanguard Ops, but still pick the Royal Artillery.

From my experience most people use it only for concentration barrage and sometimes for flares. But it isn't worth it. valentine just "might" be useful in teamgames.

Valentine is like a slightly more AI oriented AEC with more health but low AT because of low damages.

Its not totaly bad but usually since UKF is more on the reaction than action You usually have more pressing matters

Buying a valentines is nice to bully infantery, even snared they are still quite fast.

but usually you take this commander for the flare and arty barrage
