I wonder why sega still thinks this event interests anybody. Valentines day is the least useful date to make an event for rts games. Nobody really cares about it, its just a reason to fill all the cinemas and restaurants for one day. Why would anybody try to combine it with gaming industry? Not to mention this is the 5th edition and neither of them was sucessful in any way...

Because everybody knows that gamers are NERDS that don't leave the house with a date.

If we won, I would be very happy if we can get some money for tournaments (or maybe even Relic organising a tournament?) or more community patches or something :D
i am jealous your dreams about relic doing more for coh2 haven't been crushed yet Kappa

I actually am surprised this event is still going on..

Well technically seen that wasn't Relic.

According to who? They ran it through and through, and made all final decisions. I merely tried to help [made the rules, told them they missed feedback periods, ect;] and got "it was too hard" afterwards when the fucked up repeatedly after it started to run, so you are largely misinformed if anyone told you otherwise. :)

I think you are forgetting some things :P
There is a difference between Relic and somebody carrying Relic's name. All i'm saying ^^
I'll stop the discussion about this from here on (you can react on this post but i won't), bcs i don't want trouble :)

Hey, Relic/Sturmpanther (de facto CoH CM).
This below needs fixing ASAP unless Relic want more negative steam reviews?;

Just bought this game again for the Make War Not Love 5 event which claims that the CoH 2: Platinum Edition, which supposedly comes with all the DLC's along with another copy included for a friend, would be on sale. It was not, and all it ended up being was the regular game. The email showed a picture and the title of it as being CoH 2: Platinum Edition and I'll update this review once this is cleared up.

Yeah keep us posted..I just got that as well for a friend and I'm seeing the Platinum Edition picture too. Ended up being just the base game.

They changed the CoH picture (makewarnotlove.com), but the advertising text is not fixed yet;

Expansions =! DLCs

Ardenes assault and factions are expansions.

Commanders, ToW and skins are DLCs.

He's just being pedantic for the sake of it.

The product for sale in MWNL includes nothing but Soviets and Ostheer. No other factions, no ardennes, no ToW, skins, etc. No other DLC or Expansion, whatever you want to call it.

This is far as I can tell.

Its literally written on the page and the picture what it contain.

Customers ignorance, as ever present as it is, is not really a valid reason for any claims and issues with product that does have full and accurate description.

Hi,

On behalf of the COH Team, we sincerely apologize for the confusion. The emailing that went out a day ago indeed listed the incorrect product (as opposed to a bunch of other MWNL pages / assets / communications, which all had it right). As yesterday was a bank holiday in British Columbia, where Relic is, we caught the error a bit too late. The intent was never to mislead anyone with false advertising. Please reach out to SEGA's Customer Support (https://support.sega.co.uk), who is already working on ways to make it right by those who bought COH2 thinking they would get all the expansions as well.

Meanwhile, we have been working with SEGA to ensure that all the incriminated visuals have been fixed. It should be all good now. But in case you spot anything we might have missed, please let us know at info@relic.com

Thanks
Thanks for the quick clarification.
