Its a 145 fuel tank and it is tied to Soviet tier 4. What tier are you supposed to link it with
soviet tier 4 is ost tier 3 and brit tier 3

We all know of the rush. But more than double the build time? Come on, that is insane. 40 to 60 seconds would be more reasonable.

Get your facts staight. You said that Churchill is T4 while KV1 is not.

Now time for funny fact:
You need 660 MP + 195 fuel to unlock Churchill
You need 640 MP + 195 fuel to unlock KV1

Funny like fuel cost for Churchill and KV1 is excatly the same, aye?

Ostheer T4 (afaik) costs 720 MP + 140 fuel

and if im not wrong soviet start with more fuel and if they get all the tier brits still pay more with aec or bof

dude the battle phases ? and i meant about soviet and brits staring fuel not ost i know they are the same, second the churchil is still more expensive third brits like ost is a late game faction soviet is not

Still doesn't change the fact that KV1 costs more or less excatly the same as Churchill, tied to tech as well but way weaker.

lol dude how much have you not played ost ? to forget about the BP they are there from COH 1

the 15 fuel differnce is fair for less pop less mp less target sive more armor and more speed

For 15 more fuel Churchill gets 1400 HP, support abilities, plus it's a non-doc and has better gun and MG.

On the other hand KV1 has better armor (240 - 270 is rather irrelevant difference), speed which also irrelevant for a damage sponge unit - it's not like you will flank anything with 5.1.

There is not a single point why KV1 should be way worse damage sponge than Churchill if they are priced almost excatly the same in terms of tech and unit itself.

spedd is revelant while running away , church has smoke cause they dont have a mobile mortar to give them , 30 armor is a lot (ex. ost p4 cost 25 less than okw p4 for 50 armor that can be gain back at vet 2, and okw has a bit worse stats too) and they get 0.8 damage modifier ,alvin locks you out of comet and the gun is almost the same (see stats i linked)

Is anyone going to explain why the P2 deserves an 85 second build time where as all other light vehicles and light tanks float around 40 to 45.

For the record the king tiger has a build time of 90 seconds, its pritty ridiculous that a p2, which has very similar rush times vs say a Stuart or AEC (which cost about the same IIRC) should have the same build time as a King Tiger.

• 21% speed isn't nothing.
• 9% lower chance to hit from Pak40 isn't much, but that armor is more efficient against Panzer 4.
• Smoke is trash, it slows the unit and the smoke itself isn't even as big as USF canisters, the churchill takes some time to crawl into the smoke backwards. Churchill is a big and slow tank, it gets even slower in smoke and many players already know about attack ground option. You are better off not using smoke while retreating.
• Grenade is good.
• 40% Churchill HP isn't the gamechanger.
• 80MP/15 Fuel isn't that much of the cost difference, but it still something to consider.
• Churchill gets the extra repair ability where KV-1 gets the bonus +20% reload speed on Churchill.

You can buff KV-1 to the performance/price of Churchill, but both units are still going to struggle to find the place in the game. One Stug or Pak with faust squad is all you need to prevent the KV1/Churchill advance.

Perhaps there is a use-case scenario for 1vs1/2vs2 games where these tanks can be efficient at disrupting enemies, but 4vs4 it is a veterancy pinata with no firepower against Panther and up.

While I agree Churchill smoke is hard (impossible?) to use effectively, it doesn't slow down the tank anymore in DBP.

its for the same reason that ost p4 and okw p4 have different prices
you dont' pick a doc only for the kv1 they come in package and the package is very good

Ost P4 and OKW P4 are diffrent Tanks. OKW P4 got more armor than Ost one.
