Click to move forward, then it goes backwards, then forwards

As the topic says, click on the tank to move forward, it goes forward, then it goes backwards, then forwards again. Seems to happen a lot, and is frustrating, as you lose time trying to attack and lose the advantage, or you lose a unit because the stupid thing backs up into the enemy units.

any replay or video? Vehicles tend to move backwards more often after one of the changes relic made. But I have never seen vehicles to change direction mid path.

Happens very often. Tank rides full speed, then like bumps from something for couple of meters backward, then goes forward again all by itself. Very annoying TBH.

Has something to do with another vehicle in its path or something.

Yeah I see it happen a lot with any vehicle even if they are by themselves with no other vehicles or movement blockers in sight. It seems to be 100% random as far as I can tell.

whats more annoying is that..when they in full Spd then u see ATG, Press U to reverse they rotate, 360 before going in reverse back.. cost the tank tho..

i had to put the imput, click forward > Press S > then Press U in order to prevent them from 360 turn,

it doesn't happen when u just move tho.. it happen only when tank are in full SPD

Isn't this the rubberbanding effect? Very annoying when it happens in your face, and often times result in things like units dying.

Sure it's not often, but that's like saying the Challenger incident didn't happen too often so don't bother changing.

Rubberband is a good description. The unit moves forward then hits like a rubber ball and bounces backwards before it goes forward again.

It's really funny seeing Kubals do this, cranking down a road at full speed then for no reason at all it just seems to bounce off an invisible wall.
