With the recent and upcoming nerf Cromwell and Comets, maybe this survey will move
the threads to make it possible; swap PIV & Panthers OKW to WEHR tanks.
Currently there is a huge request to improve PIV and panther WEHR. OKW has heavy to stop allies and this change is not detrimental. We have in our hands the balance of coh2

I'm not too clear yet but, do you mean by Ostheer now get the OKW version of PIV and Panther? Cause in this case, that's a huge buff to Ostheer medium armours (Maybe the one they needed, could help break the forever famous double StuGs)... Hell yeah, I will take that! (It's not like I hate StuGs, but I really want to try something other than StuGs that doesn't put me in a disadvantage)‎

I'm having trouble understanding what you 2 want exactly.

If this is about switching the OKW tanks over to the Wehrmacht, yeah sure, but then what's going to be so unique about the 2, aren't that what people are crying about in the first place, an Army being unique?

I think he is referring to the armored skirts on the OKW Panzer 4 and how it does not need them anymore.

The Model H and Model J came standard with those, even if they reduced the armor value in game, they should not remove the Schurzen from the in-game model.

That said, I think he is talking about giving OKW's version of the P4 and Panther to Ostheer.

I approve of the Ostheer P4 and Panther performing on the level that the OKW P4 and Panther does. But at the same time, the vet and costs may not translate so cleanly.

As far as side skirts, I'd kind of prefer they be a munitions upgrade rather than a vet bonus. For either faction.

Why?

I don't feel that there is that much of a difference. Sure some vital stats aren't the same but really the problem the P4 has is its pathetic accuracy not its health and skirts.

Also, are you willing to pay the extra fuel they cost? Because OKW tanks cost more...

I mean, at least it's worth it. You're correct though. As long as the Ostheer P4 remained its pathetic accuracy... The OKW one still worth better cause at least it can combat Allies tanks at range more reliably.‎ Same things go with the Panther case.

Most people here probably want the OST PIV and PV to have the same stats as the OKW ones, and probably at the current OST prices. The next patch is going to be a significant UKF nerf, why bother with the poll?

The Panthers are identical, so I could see them doing that. The only real changes the mg dps and some accuracy.

The p4 variants should remain distinct though. I mean they are already different models, I don't see any reason to cut out diversity in the game instead of just fixing the problem with some small buffs.

Prokw pays more upfront for those extra stats and their Veterancy potential, specially in the PZ4 case, which OKW didn't use to have and is why they got their special variant.

At some point there will be changes in the OKW tanks, imo should be better tanks WEHR than the OKW; Improve stats Wehr and have lower stats OKW, lower costs OKW tanks and swap blitz:

The Panthers are definitely not identical.

Try putting an infantry unit in front of the OST panther and an infantry unit in front the OKW panther and watch wonders unfold.

Then, right click to your designed destination and click Blitzkrieg/Combat Blitz

PS: I think capiqua means SWAP not COPY.

Well yes the normal stats are equal from the panthers. BUT the big thing is the vet! Vet 3-5 Panther from OKW is better then vet 3 Ostheer.

Its about the vet. Also vet 5 OKW PIV reks more then ost PiV vet 3.

Nah I meant they are the same model. They function identically with the same role, the OKW is just straight up better at it. Opposed to this is the p4 variants, which have some tradeoffs.

IMO, Ost Panther should be mirrored to its OKW counterpart and Ost T4 unlocked with BP2 so it'll be accessible in your average game.

A bit more radical, but I've kinda wanted to see the OKW P4 equipped with a stubby barrel and HE shells so its kind of like a really beefy Sherman co compliment the AT specialists in its tier.
