I'm also referring to the half-track vs loiter aircraft. If it's as good as they say it is, then it's almost a must-have.

If strafing run nerfed, there's no reason to go soviet T3 now~ who cares about T-34/76 and T-70 when you have KV-8, HTD gone is a good news, right now HTD can deal with a PG in 1v1 is non-acceptable

Kv8 is doctrinal. T3 is not.

So we have a buffed T34, T70, and a nerfed P4 & Ostwind... all while the SU-85 remains unchanged.

Clearly an unconstructive post. If you actually took time to read the notes, it is a buff to the doctrinal t34-85. Axis also received buffs to the brummbar and a minor buff to the stug.

Clearly you didn't comprehend my 'unconstructive' (your words) post. Axis received other buffs but those buffs are irrelevant and not worth mentioning. They effectively change nothing. You can disagree. And since you obviously do disagree the constructive (since you're so concerned with constructive responses) response would be to explain to me, in detail using your own words (hard for you I see), why you disagree.

But I'm still laughing at that name - Langreskaya haha :)

Really happy Langres is back :)

How is a buff to the ostheer tier t4 making it more viable irrelevant?

Because one is still just as likely to field a Brummbar as before this change. That is to say: not at all. It's a welcome change and one I happen to agree with but also totally irrelevant.

I don't play at a high enough level to comment about the microscopic changes. So the two things I was hoping to see didn't appear.

A slight nerf to the SU85 sight range would be nice. The major one for me is the frankly ludicrous "single bullet = nearly dead engine" tank problem is the one that annoys me. Apparently if you cough too near a P4 the engine fails.

Although the times I do play as the Russians, it's amusing to see the already hugely effective T70 is now even more accurate. Shame that the Stug/Brummbar are still utterly pointless, and that we can't build Doctrinal units out of the building.

I know that COH1 eventually was incredibly balanced, and COH2 is still new, so let's sit through these early nerfs until it all works out.

I'm not very surprised that the SU-85 and StuG weren't touched. My guess is that too many sweeping changes could really fuck things up and having to work backwards to tweak little changes would be less efficient than relatively smaller steps and seeing where the meta and balance plays out on a larger scale.

This patch also looked more like a "fix broken things" patch as opposed to a unit tweak. That's based on what looks to be a large number of fixes on abilities that had unintended results (Rapid Conscription, Relief Infantry, HTD, Strafe, etc).

If people feel "wronged" or just disappointed by the patch overall, remember that this isn't the only patch Relic is ever going to release forever and ever. Keep your pants on, chill the fuck out, have some cake, masturbate, let it all hang out.

StuG weren't touched

It's size went down from 20 to 14 , someone pointed out the following;

long range calculated accuracy against is now 28% chance to hit instead of 40%, short range calculated accuracy against it is now 70% rather than 100%.

Not the changes I was hoping for to SU, StuG, Tiger and IS2

but the rest looks pretty good I guess.

You're likely being AT-Naded by Conscripts. Keep your distance.

Ahhh. Damn. I'm so determined to avoid the Guards and their buttoning that I'm probably wandering too close. Thank you. (sorry for slightly wandering OT)

How the name was given: "Hm, Langres was a good name for it. But we need a better name, something russian. Ah fuck, -kaya at the end and it's russian."

That name actually sounds like plausible name for a village in Russia

I like most changed.. but..

Why would they make T70 slightly more accurate, while making P4 way more innacurate, and not nerfing the SU85? Also, no changes to the pak...

They should really just add a Reigel Mine ability to halftracks by default since that'll be the way to deal with the SU's now.

Also: 1 frame delay between unit orders? Is that a mistake in the notes or something? Delay feels like 2 seconds, not a frame
