Why do you like Coh2?

Now I'm going to go into the mechanics that makes me enjoy this game more. Cover, the only other games I've seen that have a cover system was the first Halo Wars. I just like how Company of Heroes has set it up for the player.
Another mention I must make is that the character of the units is far more enjoyable than what Men of War: Assault Squad 2 has to offer. Hearing "For the fatherland", "For Uncle Sam", and "For the Motherland" is just boring. In comparison to Company of Heroes, a Panzergrenadier would end up screaming "Any lower and I'm going to be fucking the ground!"

- Destructible environment that turns into usable cover
- directional cover system
- explosions!
- vehicles leaving fumes and tread marks; tree shadows overlapping them as they pass underneath
- voiceovers sound like they are real skirmish recordings, not video game acting
- every unit is precious and is not expendable
For a low ranking player, there is very little to hate about this game

Artillery explosions
Resource model
Cover system
The fact that you can use the environment to your advantage(buildings, fow, hedges)
Dynamic FoW
The little soldiers with their talk
The carnage
The flames
The drama
The community
I don't think we give enough credit to COH2.org(and the feeling of community it provides) for keeping the game alive.

You have action from the first few minutes.
Infantry needs to be in cover, and everything is cover!
Get behind a wall and your infantry can duke it out a long time.
Get them on the wrong side of the wall, and watch them get gunned down with their backs to the wall.
When you get a tank it's fully immune to gunfire.
If they don't have AT your tank is god.
If your the one without the tank, haha you loser!
But no joke it's a thrill trying to play around a tank until you get some form of AT.
By this stage of the game your farmland map has turned to a destroyed battlefield.
Don't worry about cover, a hole is cover.
I have 700+ hours on this game and no intent on stopping.

1) Cover system
2) Team weapons with limited arc of fire
3) Suppression mechanic
4) Squad-based unit command
5) Low amount of units to control
6) Resources are scattered around map, so you have actually leave base
7) WWII setting (I thought to add "that includes Eastern Front" at first, but then remembered Soviet campaign)
8) Generally good design of vanilla factions with great combined arms approach in mind
2 Beer to this guy.
1) Cover system
2) Suppression
3) Veterancy (importancy of unit preservation)
make COH2 unique I say it as SC veteran
