They might be; I've never tried that, and I've never seen anybody try that either.

For 3vs3 and 4vs4,

I'm wandering if the positive changes made to Soviets and UK will compensate for the nerfs to US and all the Axis buffs, because, it's already no so easy to win versus Axis in those formats (auto-matching not helping either).

I'v to add that i didn't test the tuning mod versus players in those formats.(only cpus)

I just hope that some form of metric evaluation and a possible ajustement patch will be available after a time following the implantation of the tuning mod.


Plz bring us the live patch !

Please exercise patience. I daresay it is quite close now, but AFAIK, there is no specific date yet fixed.

Serious question: Who will play soviets after this patch? Guards nerf is WAY too strong imo. No one is going to get them anymore. Soviet players will cry hard if the patch gets released like that.

Can someone explain to me why did they nerf Soviet faction so hard? I play with germans most of time but i dont get it......no one will play soviet no more, and the allies already have a lower amount of players than the Germans

Yeah an while we are it nerf ISU-152 and T34-76 they are clearly overperforming.

I think the original intent was to nerf guards and put penals in their functional place. This idea didn't pan out for a multitude of reasons, and so guards are mostly being nerfed into just ptrs carriers, which tbh is still their primary role.

Well, they are still better than USF. And when they came out, IS model cost 35 to reiforce, not 28 which iss bs even now (volk model cost the same and cant be even compared to IS model)

From my fairly limited play of the WBP, penal nerf is justified and they are still pretty strong, although I feel like satchel damage vs vehicles is on the low side. It it designed only as a snare?

Guard nerf feels a bit strong though.

I should have asked sooner but, what does that bug fix mean for Paratroopers? More manpower per minute and chance for a bigger army?

Soviets will just abuse maxims or ppsh cons, do not worry they will find something. T34/76 spam is potent as well, becaus it´s cheap as hell and T34 is right now useful against infantry (finally)

Yes. They will spam Maxims even more. Not sure if WBP team kept that in mind when nerfing Penals. I find playing against Penals with the odd M3 car or sniper better than playing against a Maxim spam.

I don´t know why Penals are considered OP anyways. Yes they are strong against infantry but they have to be because they are a 300 MP 60 Ammo unit with no AT capability. Going T1 as Soviets is such a risk because of the obvious lack of AT that Penals need to be good just to offer any reward for going T1. Especially against a OKW player that gets a quick Luchs I find T2 much stronger. Guard Rifles can´t effectivly fight a supported Luchs and until T-70 gets out the OKW player takes over the whole map.

When playing against Soviets as OKW I´m always glad if my Opponent goes T1 because I know I just have to hold on a bit until I get Luchs and he can´t counter.

Try using cover luch is extremely bad against units in cover.

Get Luchs around cover? Only thing Luchs struggles against is units in buildings.

Guards were nerfed too strong. Big damage nerf and cost increase. After wbp they will be trash. I agree that nowadays they are a bit too good but this nerf is too strong. Better nerf cost or nerf damage, not both.

Get Luchs around cover? Only thing Luchs struggles against is units in buildings.


Luch vs heavy cover modifiers Accuracy X0.5 Damage X0.25.

Simply build 2 sand bags in V shape, then Luch has to circle all around the back to fire also keep in mind that PTRS have 100% chance to hit and penetrate the Luch up to range 40.
