USF mortar changes:

Range on autofire reduced to 80 (same as other non-120mm mortars). No other stat changes for the weapon, still autoloader equipped.

Scatter bonus from veterancy doubled for autofire, so now it gains *0.64 scatter for vet1 and another *0.64 at vet2 for a cool reduction of -59% on the already to start with lowest scatter of all the mortars.

Gains +33% range at vet3 for autoattack.

New OKW LEFH veterancy:
vet2:
-15% --> -5% scatter on hardpoint 2 (default barrage for vet0-vet2)
-25% --> -15% recharge time on abilities
+30% --> +15% rotation speed

vet3:
+33% --> +10% range on hardpoint 1 (unused, probably does nothing)
+33% --> +10% range on counterbarrage ability (but not on weapon, so probably won't do anything)

vet4:
-10% scatter on hardpoint 2 (probably does nothing because barrage uses hardpoint 5 from vet3 onwards)
+15% rotation speed
-15% recharge time on abilities

vet5:
+23% range on hardpoint 1 (unused, probably does nothing)
+23% range on counterbarrage ability (but not on weapon, so probably won't do anything)

So USF mortar's accuracy even better for auto-fire now :foreveralone:

I wonder what the vet 4 and 5 levels of the LEFH are!? I'm glad they are fixing the mortar so quick so I don't have to feel so dirty playing with them.


Just tested in cheat mod, they nerfed OKW Lehf down, so their vet 4 and vet 5 abilities match OST lEhf vet 2 and vet 3, so if u have OKW LEhf vet 2 and vet 3, its basicly half as good as OST one.

ANd soviet B4 - 30 pop cap, Relic clearly has no love for howitzers.

Where is fix for:
1)T34-76 and T34-85 coaxial MG that is not shooting.
3)B4 howitzer which is 30 popcap

So the USFs mortar doesnt shoot across the map anymore :D but still is heat seeking and has the ROF of a machinegun :D

So what it looks like is that it pretty much rotates a bit faster and barrages a few seconds sooner at vet 2 and 4.

Even just a wehr 81mm clone would have been enough for the USF. A superior 81mm is just too much.

or the USF mortar needs to deal something like 60 damage for the rof and accuracy to be balanced.

I think USF finally decoded the plans for the old Wher Turbo Mortar and finally rolled them out on the front lines with improved scatter to boot - have to admire that American ingenuity.

Wish they would just remove the US mortar and OKW MG. The game felt better before both of those were introduced.

USF didn't even have a mortar a few days ago.. now they have the best one and the earliest one. So dumb.
It's like if they gave OKW a nondoc mg with the range of vickers, damage of a DShk, suppression of an mg42 and penetration of a .50 cal.

This is an incredibly huge buff to the Jagdtiger. It actually got stunned quite often and this lead to most of - at least my - Jagdtiger deaths.

The real question however: What are those vet 4 + 5 105mm bonuses?


Vet 4- More loud

Vet 5- Nuke Missile Testing allows for extra damage
